00:01The vote counting is still underway, and the Liberals who spoke to the ABC today believe
00:06the party is in the running to win five seats yet to be called, on top of the four they've
00:11already secured.
00:13Given recent polling predictions pointing to a wipeout, the result has left some with
00:18a level of relief, but long-time Federal Liberal Alexander Downer says it was the worst election

00:55Factional disagreements in the Liberal Party are nothing new.

01:10Grow up and stop playing these endless factional games.
01:14You have to keep explaining that the Liberal Party is the party of freedom.
01:20It's a party of free people and free enterprise.
01:25But whether anything will change remains to be seen.
01:28After the count wraps up, the Liberals will conduct a review of this campaign in the hope
01:33that the only way from here is up.
