01:28Customization's a really big part of APB.
01:29It lets players express exactly what they're feeling.
01:33It lets them show the other players
01:35either aggression or maybe something funny.
01:38The reason we gave players so much customization
01:40is for the first time we actually wanted them
01:42to be able to make their own game character,
01:44one that's completely unique to anybody else.
01:47So, you know, their friends,
01:47anybody could recognize them just by looking at them,
01:50not by the fact they have to have a name played up of their head.
01:58It's just astonishing,
02:00kind of the level of complexity and variety
02:02that you can get out of it now.
02:04I mean, because you've got the vehicle tools there,
02:06you've got the symbol editors,
02:07you can turn that stuff into graffiti, tattoos,
02:11you know what I mean?
02:11You can plaster that stuff up on the billboards
02:14in the districts if you want to.
02:16There's just so many outlets for it.
02:19You know, you won't be bored.
02:32So we have three players.
02:34We have two action districts,
02:36the financial district we call Havilland,
02:38which is very closed in,
02:40very downtown feeling.
02:41Not a lot of open vistas,
02:43but lots of really close in game play.
02:46And then we have the waterfront,
02:47which is more of a tourist district.
02:49A lot more open vistas,
02:50a lot more beautiful scenery,
02:53a lot more idyllic,
02:54but of course with the action backdrop going on.
03:01And then the social district, it's relaxing.
03:03It's really just taking a break from the action.
03:06So there you can shop, you can customize,
03:08you can show off what you're doing,
03:09things like that.
03:17As a criminal, you've got a lot of things you can do.
03:19You can go and steal cars
03:21and take them to chop-chops for some quick catch.
03:24You can do sort of smash and grabs at the stores.
03:26You can mug other, you know,
03:28pedestrians that are running around in the streets.
03:32As an enforcer, it really means patrolling the city,
03:36witnessing criminals in the act and trying to stop it.
03:40If you're a criminal and you're stealing cars,
03:42after a certain amount of time,
03:44enforcers will be dispatched against you.
03:46So it works both ways.
03:51The unexpected sort of variety
03:53in terms of how missions pan out,
03:55I think people are going to really dig that.
03:57And, you know, you can get some really exciting chases going on.
04:00You know, when you suddenly have to escape,
04:02you've got the loot, whatever,
04:03and now there's loads of people after you
04:05and you've got to get out of there.
04:07That's always really exciting.
04:08You kind of get that little kick of adrenaline,
04:10like, get out of here, get out of here,
04:11get out of here, oh no, they're shooting us.
04:17When you bring real people into equations
04:19like them always being the opposition in a mission,
04:23because you never know who you're going to be up against,
04:24what kind of mood they're in,
04:25how many of them there are,
04:26what's their skill level,
04:27you get tremendous variety
04:29every single time you play BB.
04:33And you just get this just massive bang in the middle,
04:38where everybody's sort of got their own agenda
04:40and, you know, you're trying to push yours
04:43and, you know, varying degrees of success, obviously.
04:45You really have to sort of adapt to the situation a lot.
04:53What I'm really looking forward to seeing what players do is,
04:56first of all, the creations that they make with it,
04:58some of the amazing characters, clans, vehicles, music.
05:02But secondly, how they use the game
05:03in ways you've never thought about.
05:05So even examples right now from the beta
05:07where we see players who are trying to take pictures
05:09of arresting every single criminal player that exists.
05:11So just very cool things we haven't thought of
05:14that players will find and use the game for.
05:17I haven't seen it before.
05:20Certainly never to this kind of complexity.
05:23And I just think that's going to be huge.
05:25I think people are going to love that.
05:26It's just very cool things ever.
