00:10:58Because upon the arrivals of our superstar, all of a sudden there was major commotion.
00:11:03And there was clearly a massive car accident out in the parking lot.
00:11:07This was the scene, two cars crashed and all of a sudden Drew McIntyre
00:11:11ripping Jacob Fatu through the windshield and beating him down, Wade.
00:11:15Well, there was an attack predetermined by McIntyre to cause maximum damage to Jacob Fatu.
00:11:22And maximum damage it did indeed cause.
00:11:25And at this point, the assumption was Jacob Fatu was heading straight to hospital while
00:11:32Drew McIntyre headed out to ring.
00:11:33However, back from the dead apparently, Joe.
00:11:37In comes the Samoan werewolf and the brawl ensued at ringside.
00:11:43Which quickly became a human demolition derby with the body of McIntyre crashing into the steps.
00:11:51And then much worse than that.
00:11:53They thought they had him contained, but no.
00:11:58The Samoan werewolf flying through Timekeeper, up onto the barrier,
00:12:05and smashing through McIntyre and destroying the reinforced announce desk.

00:13:02The following contest is scheduled for one fall and
00:13:06is for the WWE Tag Team Championship.
00:13:22And Wade, I can only imagine what Priest's reaction would have been just a few weeks ago if you told
00:13:27him he'd be tagging with R-Truth, let alone fighting for the Tag Team Championships.
00:13:30Yeah, that's right. We're going to catch our breath here with a nice easy one, aren't we, Joe?
00:13:35No, we're not. It's a Tag Championship match with the unlikely tag duo of Damian Priest and R-Truth.
00:13:42They have simply caught fire here on SmackDown over the past three weeks.
00:13:47Yeah, the third match in three weeks, having earned the status as number one contenders.
00:13:53What a reaction they have gotten each and every week.
00:13:56It's been a hastily thrown together tag team, but they won Tag Team Turmoil two weeks ago.
00:14:01And they doubled down last week with victory over Lost Cars.
00:14:06And these two hitting a rare vein of form as we hurtle towards WrestleMania.
00:14:21We're taking it all, we're taking it all, we're taking it all, we're taking it all, we're ready for war,
00:14:32better than ever before, we're taking it all, we're going to the war, feel like it's hard to the poor,
00:14:37we're taking it all.
00:14:44And their opponent, accompanied by Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, and Solo Sokoa, they are the WWE Tag Team Champions, Tama
00:14:56Tonga and J.C. Matteo, M.F.T.
00:15:02You see Solo Sokoa leading the way with the Wyatt Six Lantern.
00:15:07And, of course, the champs have been entangled with the Wyatt Six since they took the bowl in late January.
00:15:11Now, a much different focus shift with this title defense wave.
00:15:16Yeah, stepping away from their major rivals in the Wyatt Six and now focusing on championship business.
00:15:23Interestingly, it was actually Solo and Tama Tonga who won those tag titles a couple of months back.
00:15:30However, it's going to be J.C. Matteo and Tama Tonga defending them tonight.
00:15:35Almost an element of Freebird rule going on there with the M.F.T.s, but nevertheless, dressed up in
00:15:41the war paint and ready for war are the M.F.T.s.
00:15:44And what a tall task this is for the relatively new tag team.
00:15:49I, I, I, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa.
00:15:51And that's what's on the line is a tag team championships up for grabs.
00:15:56We've got the M.F.T. standing over our destroyed announced saying, what happened over here, guys?
00:16:01It's only a giant shadow cast over us and you look up and it's the massive Tala Tonga, but right
00:16:07now it is Damian Priest straight in there with the heavy artillery.
00:16:12Trying to get right to him right away against J.C. Matteo and taking advantage as Priest has found his
00:16:18gear early on.
00:16:19I mean, if ever there was a time of year to suddenly hit a hot streak and lose some gold,
00:16:26it's right about now.
00:16:28And that was some old school R-Truth right there.
00:16:30You know, you mentioned that they were thrown together quickly, but yet we're seeing a little bit of early chemistry
00:16:36now all of a sudden between R-Truth and Priest Wade.
00:16:39Yeah, some things just work and I hearken back to their time together in the Judgment Day.
00:16:44If Truth was in fact in the Judgment Day and they had a little chemistry back then too, but right
00:16:49now taking R-Truth out of the equation is Tala Tonga and immediately pouncing is J.C. Matteo.
00:16:56And now technically looks like a two-on-one matchup and things going very well indeed for the MFTs.
00:17:02Gold is on the line.
00:17:22J.C. Matteo taking advantage of things out on the floor against Damian Priest, WWE Tag Team Championship match here
00:17:29in Raleigh, North Carolina.
00:17:31There's been a blitzkrieg approach here from the MFTs, from the off really, wiping out R-Truth momentarily and that
00:17:37was all they needed to open a major window to knock down Damian Priest and hopefully for their sake keep
00:17:44him down.
00:17:46Tama Tonga beating down with a series of right hands.
00:17:50Let's talk about Tama Tonga because what a 2026 that has been thus far for the Untamed Tonga.
00:17:57Won the tag titles from the Wyatt Six at the beginning of the year.
00:18:00He's beaten Nakamura in singles action, beaten Ilya Dragunov in singles action, albeit with some major help from the MFTs.
00:18:09But it has been a sterling three months so far for Tama Tonga.
00:18:13And I think we've seen the best of him offensively, especially with the cutthroat added to the arsenal.
00:18:18No doubt about that.
00:18:20And of course he has had a certain Shinsuke Nakamura whispering things in his ear, trying to sow a little
00:18:26discord within the MFTs.
00:18:27Fight your own battle, stop relying on backup being the message.
00:18:31That has rather upset Solo Sikawa at times and does not appear to have got through to Tama Tonga at
00:18:37all.
00:18:37Marshall history goes very far back.
00:18:47Chase is in a tough spot.
00:18:49And with the referee distracted, Tonga Loa comes in with a right hand.
00:18:54Yeah, it's just a smart move from JC Matteo.
00:18:56Clearly pre-planned, that's the strategy.
00:18:59Turn the referees back and take a cheap shot when you can.
00:19:02He's essentially two against five here tonight.
00:19:06That is part of the reason why it is difficult to perceive anyone taking down these MFTs.
00:19:18Teaming up to take down Priest again.
00:19:21Well Priest has been completely neutered so far in this one after that early flourish right off the bat, taken
00:19:27down and kept down by these MFTs who have been absolutely merciless once they got the upper hand.
00:19:37Tama Tonga, he's explosive, shows that speed, the violence.
00:19:46Yeah, this is just a feral side to Tama Tonga that when it's unleashed, gives opponents very little breathing room.
00:19:54But it's not to mention this guy is a highly skilled, technically astute superstar.
00:20:00Talking about technically astute, the 2004 Olympian, Matteo.
00:20:05It's a lateral press on the count of one, now looking for the better cover.
00:20:09Priest still has a lot left in the tank, although he has taken some punishment.
00:20:22Great scene here, sold out in Raleigh, North Carolina's Friday Night SmackDown on this road to WrestleMania.
00:20:28A couple weeks ago, Damian Priest and R-Truth were quickly assembled to take part in a number one contenders
00:20:34match.
00:20:34They won it, they won tag team turmoil, thus this championship opportunity against the MFTs.
00:20:41Well, it's an opportunity right now that is slipping away because Damian Priest, the punisher of SmackDown, has been relentlessly
00:20:48punished by J.C. Matteo and Tama Tonga.
00:20:52This to retain for the MFTs, but the shoulder gets up from Priest.
00:20:56And this has just been a masterclass from the MFTs, cheating behind the referee's back, cheap shots, whatever it takes
00:21:03to retain the goal.
00:21:06Matteo, splashing into that corner against Priest, who's taken sustained damage, and then he rids the apron of R-Truth.
00:21:14Well, R-Truth has taken some sustained damage too, despite not having been tagged into this one.
