00:30I don't know what's going on, we have the voice.
00:31We have the rare privilege of working with both Sam Jackson.
00:34Specialists, get me the latest tax... taxat data.
00:38Taxat data, taxat data, taxat data.
00:40I wasn't prepared to say that word.
00:42I practiced all the other shit, but not that.
00:43And Don Cheadle.
00:45Zephtorn? Is that as fictitious as it sounds?
00:48So having the actual voice actors in is essential to the game.
00:52That's what makes it an Iron Man 2 game.
00:54Don Cheadle as War Machine is just amazing,
00:56both in the film and in the game.
00:57And to have him participate in the video game was just a stroke of luck for us.
01:02I think this is his first video game, which is very cool.
01:04Yes! Thank you, Tony, for making a suit that can handle that.
01:07Don Cheadle is a machine. I mean, he plays War Machine.
01:11But he charged right through everything he had in front of him.
01:13Very professional. He would do retakes, whatever was necessary.
01:16Oh, I love this suit.
01:17He knows this character.
01:18So a lot of the time we were relying on him
01:21for basically the establishment of the characters.
01:23Next line down.
01:24Word.
01:25You got it. I know. 206.
01:26I don't think Rhode is saying word.
01:29War Machine is an extension of Rhodey.
01:32I think he sees himself as being a protector of what is needed in this country.
01:37He came in and he was Rhodey.
01:38It was wonderful.
01:39And when people load up the game and they load up War Machine,
01:42they're really going to believe that they are Don Cheadle as Rhodey as War Machine.
01:47And the reason we got Sam Jackson was actually because of Don Cheadle.
01:50Because Don is difficult. He was Texas.
01:55We were good to work with and this is going to be a great experience for him.
01:58And he was going, don't with this. This is crazy.
02:02And within a week, we had Sam Jackson.
02:04I've known who Nick Fury was for a very long time.
02:07All of a sudden, I picked up a comic book one day and that was my face.
02:10And it was Nick Fury.
02:11So I said, well, okay, this is cool.
02:12So when they make the movie, I guess I'll get a chance to play Nick Fury.
02:15Copy the living hell out of that.
02:17Nick Fury, as the director of S.H.I.E.L.D., is the ultimate badass.
02:20So he's going to be directing you as you go through?
02:22It's a pretty powerful position.
02:24To bring him into the game, not just his voice, but his likeness as well,
02:27it provides that connection and that authenticity.
02:30A little respect wouldn't hurt.
02:32I actually went and directed all of the voice acting sessions
02:34because it's so important to get that correct tone, that correct feel.
02:39Aim has Jarvis and can power him up. What's the threat assessment?
02:42All you can kind of rely on is if you believe the dialogue that you're saying is, you know,
02:47kind of in concert with what your character beats would be in the film.
02:49It seems like they're the same guy.
02:51War Machine out.
02:53No, that's not it.
02:54War Machine out.
02:56There it is.
02:56As a voice director, I really try to let the actor do a lot of the work.
03:00Two in a row, pressure's back on him on 64.
03:02Hey, you're Tony Stark, right? You think of something.
03:05It's about letting them have the creative freedom to bring the character to life.
03:08This is Stormbreaker One. What can we do for you today, Rain Man?
03:11Get the groove, we start working well together, and then you just roll through.
03:15It's amazing how fast we roll through this thing. 60 lines an hour sometimes.
03:18That was great, Sam.
03:19If you look at a movie set, you have days for two lines.
03:22I love working on games like Iron Man 2 a little bit more.
03:25Great step, don't stand by for playback.
03:27Because it gives the chance for an actor to be an actor.
03:29You just put yourself in that frame of mind and you just act.
03:33I got him. I kind of got him. Take the shot, Tony.
03:36It's an opportunity to keep my hand in the universe and hopefully I'll play a bigger part in those films
03:41and not just keep showing up and talking to people.
03:44I actually killed somebody.
03:45Good work, everyone. Awesome job, fellas.
