01:24The other one I wanted to talk about was tackling
01:27By and large last year we had a standing tackle and a sliding tackle
01:30And this year we've blown out all of our standing tackles into different types
01:33We have something called an intercept tackle
01:34Which is somewhere between a tackle and a dribble
01:37Where if your opponent kicks the ball maybe a little bit too far
01:40Instead of sticking him and getting him to the guy and causing him to stumble
01:43You actually sort of run by, tackle the ball away and run after it
01:47Without actually touching him
01:48It makes a little bit of a cleaner dispossession of your opponent
01:53As well as gives you a little bit of an advantage for reading the play
01:56And getting in at the right time
01:59Conversely we have for our regular standing tackles
02:01When you do want to really clatter somebody
02:02We have something we're calling a stick'em tackle
02:04Which is basically you getting in, the ball's close to him
02:07You getting the ball, you getting the man too
02:08And making sure you're causing the stumble
02:10So that you can go and pick up the loose ball afterwards
02:13We also have a tackle type called knock it away and retrieve
02:16Where it's kind of dicey whether he's going to have possession or not
02:20Whether you can stick him and actually get a piece of him
02:22So you just knock the ball away, run it around the other side or run that side
02:25And then go and retrieve it after
02:26Similar to an intercept tackle but more directly as the players are approaching head on
02:31So a different scenario that uses it
02:33And then we have our clean-in tackles
02:35Which are somewhat of a hybrid between a slide tackle and a standing tackle
02:39And that's where the scenario where you're just sprinting full bore at somebody
02:42Trying to tackle them
02:44And as you approach, because you're going so fast
02:46He's got no other recourse but to go to ground and really try and take the guy out
02:50So they're less effective
02:51And it's kind of a deterrent to try and get people away from sprinting directly at the dribble
02:55Because that's just not a realistic tactic that people use in football
02:59Unless he's taking a bad touch
03:00So they can be a little bit dicey sometimes
03:03You might get blown for a foul
03:04And maybe a yellow or a red card if you get it really in the wrong situation
03:10But it forces you to manage your defending a little bit
03:13So that you're in control and always trying to position yourself to launch the best tackle you can
03:19Makes an art out of defending
03:20And I think it brings defending to life rather than mostly just holding the press button
03:31So let's study this anytime, I think it's the last task
03:38While you're taking part text
03:39About the sketch on this talk
03:39A possible text on your left
03:43Very т velel
03:43Grazie.
