00:14What's up guys it's Evanis here and today we've got some Killzone 3 beta gameplay for you and this game
00:19is still in well it's not even a beta it's in it's alpha stages so this is actually the alpha
00:25code so it's a work in progress it's in no way representative of the
00:30final product the final game so thought I'd just say that disclaimer I guess I don't want to get into
00:37any trouble or anything but it's been amazing so far I've only played a few games on it that's the
00:45only problem I found is trying to find players to play with because not many people have this right now
00:51and I think more people will have it in a few days time like on the 25th when it opens
00:58up to more people but right now it's kind of
00:59deserted but I did manage to find one or two good games which I'll show you guys right now this
01:08is probably the most players you're going to see in a game for a while
01:13the first thing that will strike you is how good the actual game looks
01:18and Killzone 2 it was a good looking game no one can really deny that but this
01:24this takes it to the next level like
01:27the textures on the walls and the objects they just look
01:31it looks so real and
01:33like it looks it's supposed to be like this map is supposed to be like really
01:38like gritty and you know dark and like the snow it's like a kind of contrast
01:42and it just me he starts shooting at me
01:48this is my first kill and it just like captures it so well
01:53sorry I'm going a bit arty there but
01:56like even the simplest things like the you know the snow particles
02:00it looks like amazingly real
02:02and you know I think it's the best looking game on the PS3 so far
02:06I think it's beaten Uncharted 2
02:10easily and this is only alpha code as well so there might be even more improvements

02:21the bot well the ammo box which is
02:23it's with the left directional button but I totally forgot
02:27I haven't played Killzone 2 for a long time
02:29it was really fun at the start and I used to be
02:32I used to be actually in the leaderboards each week
02:36I used to really like that game I used to be good at it as well
02:39I hadn't played for a long time
02:43but if you have played Killzone 2 you'll be right at home in this game
02:46it's really similar
02:48one thing I wanted to say was that
02:50like one of the main issues I had with Killzone 2 was the control lag
02:55that was kind of
02:56kind of broke the game for me
02:58but I'm happy to say that in this game
03:00there is no control lag at all
03:02it's silky smooth
03:03and it feels great
03:06it kind of feels like you know like a different game
03:10because you know because just like a simple fix of the control lag
03:15I almost killed myself right
03:16so I did remember after all
03:20and get another ammo box
03:24and
03:24I think I get another kill
03:27yeah some guys trying to shotgun me in the back
03:31some of the melee kills in here
03:32that was like you know just a smack to the face
03:35that was like a punch
03:35but
03:37there's one kill coming up
03:38which is
03:39it's crazy
03:40I'm not going to spoil it for you guys
03:41but it looks amazing
03:42and what was a knife
03:43like if we get Mono Warfare 2
03:45this knife in here is crazy
03:47I get double-teamed
03:48and I get taken out
03:50and I'm using the LMG
03:52engineer class
03:54but
03:55I eventually switched to the SMG
03:57which I think is easily the
03:58like the best weapon
04:00so far
04:01because
04:02like its fire rate is
04:04there it is
04:05in your
04:06in your face
04:08like
04:08some of that
04:09it looks amazing
04:10but
04:11yeah I'm using the
04:12well I will be using the SMG class
04:15because
04:16it lets you move faster
04:17more mobile
04:18and
04:18the fire rate is amazing

04:21it just feels like

04:23easier to kill people
04:24what I'm trying to say

04:27with the grenade again

04:32to try and improve my accuracy
04:35I did have to tweak the controls a little bit
04:37I'd suggest doing that
04:38that's the first thing

04:48yeah so I had to adjust my sensitivity

05:03the usual controls for this game
05:05they're really weird
05:07like the aiming is used
05:08aiming down the site
05:09was with the analog stick

05:11I really can't get used to that
05:12so I just switched them to

05:14Call Diddy controls

05:17kinda sucking right now
05:19I'm going to death spring
05:21here I switched to the SMG
05:22and this is
05:23where it gets fun
05:24so you can like
05:25as you can see
05:26you can move
05:26much faster

05:36for about half an hour
05:38I couldn't get over
05:39how good this game looks

05:50but I keep failing with grenades
