00:07Welcome to Hockey Fanatics, I'm Dave Foley and today we are in Los Angeles, California
00:13or as Bugs Bunny used to call it, Los Angeles.
00:17This is my adopted home for 30 years.
00:20I have a lot of love for this city and a lot of great memories here and a lot of
00:24those
00:24memories surround the hockey team, the Los Angeles Kings.
00:27Because as a Canadian living abroad, I had to get my hockey fix and the Kings were where
00:32I went.
00:33The Kings have a great history.
00:34They came into the league in 1967, the first expansion of the NHL.
00:39They had some good years, some bad years.
00:41In 1993, they went all the way to the Stanley Cup Final against the Montreal Canadiens.
00:46And then in 2012, the Los Angeles Kings won their first Stanley Cup and I was an excited
00:52Los Angelino at that point.
00:54And then two years later, they did it again.
00:56And since then, I think the team has been pretty solidly a part of this city.
01:00So I'm looking forward to getting to spend some time back home.
01:11With two Stanley Cups to their name, the LA Kings have established themselves in the hearts
01:16and collections of many in the City of Angels.
01:18On day one of my two-day journey, I'm meeting with LA superfan Danny Rogers, who isn't just
01:25building a collection.
01:26He's building a legacy of fandom by creating Kings memories with his daughter Dakota.
01:36Hey Dave, nice to meet you.
01:38Nice to meet you.
01:39This is Dakota, my daughter.
01:40Hi, Dakota.
01:41I've heard about you.
01:41May I?
01:42Nice to meet you.
01:43And thanks for letting us come over to your home here.
01:45Thank you for coming.
01:46Yeah.
01:46This is a very cool experience.
01:48Yeah.
01:48I'm looking forward to seeing your stuff and talking about it.
01:56You've been collecting for a while.
01:58I've been a fan my whole life.
01:59So ever since we got the season tickets, the stuff seems to kind of flow in, which is
02:02really nice.
02:03We've been really working on a collection, and it's coming along.
02:07That's Gretzky's signed cat.
02:09This big Luke fan.
02:10Oh, you got one of Luke's sticks.
02:11It's our favorite picture, King Kofi.
02:13He's the true king of kings.
02:16And he's fun to watch play.
02:17We got this signed by Kofi at the Fan Fest last year.
02:20You know, I'm very superstitious and kind of weird about jerseys, as well.
02:24I know a lot of hockey fans are.
02:26Yeah.
02:26So if you can notice, it's a little dirty and fringe.
02:27We don't wash these until they lose, and they had an excellent home record last year.
02:31So we went 105 points without having to really get it clean.
02:35But then they lost in the playoffs, and now it's retired on the board.
02:38Yeah.
02:44We had Bailey come to her birthday party.
02:46So all of her friends were there, and they absolutely went nuts.
02:49So Dakota, are you really an LA Kings fan?
02:53You're not just being nice to your dad?
02:55She genuinely enjoys it.
02:57Like, you know, we love going to the game.
02:58And she meets other kids there.
02:59They bang on the glass.
03:00It's kind of fun.
03:01It's a cool experience.
03:02Yeah.
03:02Kids get to scream, and no one yells at them?
03:04Yeah.
03:05We have hockey talk.
03:06You know, it's the same stuff I say in traffic in the car.
03:08She's not allowed to repeat unless it's in the stadium, and it's at the opposing teams.
03:12You know?
03:20Yeah.
03:21This is, I guess, the piece of the resistance.
03:23This is the 89-90 LA Kings signed by the whole team.
03:26It's actually Jim Fox's game stick.
03:28Oh, wow.
03:30Yeah, we're really, this thing's really cool.
03:31Except the way we always laugh is, like, Gretzky was in a bad mood when he signed it, because
03:34he signed it right there in the black, where you can never see his signature.
03:37But you get a little corner, there's a little 99 right there.
03:40And you can just make it out if you get a light on it.
03:42Yeah.
03:42And then, who's your favorite player?
03:45Signed by Kempe.
03:46Signed by Kempe.
03:47Yeah.
03:48She's a huge Kempe fan.
03:49You know, I think she was, like, a Kopi fan, because I was a big Kopi fan.
03:52Yeah.
03:53And then she saw a picture of Kempe one day, and she goes, ooh, I'm a Kempe fan now.
03:56Yeah.
03:57They're also collectible, because it actually has some wood in it still.
04:00Yeah.
04:00Hockey sticks used to weigh as much as you do.
04:03Right.
04:06Thank you so much for having us over.
04:08No, thank you for coming.
04:09It was really cool showing off the collection.
04:11And we're going to see you down at the arena.
04:13That's right.
04:13To see the game.
04:14Yeah, we're real excited.
04:15The Ducks are our tribal, so it's going to be loud.
04:18It'll be fun.
04:19Yeah, yeah.
04:19And Dakota, so nice to meet you.
04:21Thanks for letting us come over and see your stuff.
04:28After visiting Danny in Dakota, I'm heading to the Santa Monica Pier
04:32to meet King's legend turned color commentator Jim Fox
04:35at one of L.A.'s oldest eateries, Big Dean's Oceanfront Cafe.
04:40I'm here with well-known California vintner Jim Fox.
04:45Hey, hey, hey.
04:46I like that.
04:47Cheers, Jim.
04:48Well, yeah, before we get down to the history,
04:50let's talk about this.
04:52How do you pronounce it?
04:53Patine.
04:54Patine, which means?
04:55In French, it's to have skated.
04:59And you did a little skating in your past as well.
05:01Yeah, 1980.
05:031980.
05:04You were signed like 10th overall or something?
05:0510th overall to the Kings.
05:07To the Kings.
05:07And you played your whole career with the Kings.
05:08Yes, fortunate.
05:09I was good enough where they wanted me and not good enough
05:11where anyone else did.
05:12So I hung around for a while.
05:14Yeah, 10 seasons.
05:1610 seasons.
05:16We were up and down.
05:18First year, we were fourth overall in the league, really good.
05:20Next year, meh.
05:21Yeah.
05:21Back, forth, back and forth.
05:23And then, of course, in the 88, some guy joined the team.
05:27The Gretzky guy.
05:28We benefited from that.
05:30You did very much so, yes.
05:31Yes.
05:32To be fair, I think the whole league benefited from Gretzky coming to LA.
05:35I mean, it's crazy.
05:36I played against Gretzky Jr., so I knew him.
05:38But then I played against him with the Oilers, played with him here.
05:41Well, we beat them in 81.
05:44Miracle on Manchester.
05:44Yes.
05:45So we're down 5-0 after two periods.
05:48We come back and win the game in overtime, won the series.
05:50They finished 48 points ahead of us in the regular season.
05:53Yeah.
05:53It was like crazy.
05:54And it was a pretty remarkable comeback.
05:55A lot of bookies lost a lot of money.
05:57We pissed them off enough that they went on to win, like,
06:00five of the next seven Stanley Cups.
06:03Yeah.
06:03And it's amazing.
06:04And as a kid from Toronto, I moved to LA in 95.
06:06Ah, okay.
06:07And trying to teach myself to love a new hometown team.
06:11So watching your coverage, you were a big part of it.
06:13You were a big part of educating me in those days.
06:16It's been a long road.
06:17It's been a tough road.
06:18I mean, we've been here since 67.
06:20There is a hockey culture here.
06:21Yes.
06:21There's no question.
06:22We saw it in 12 and 14.
06:24We won the Stanley Cups.
06:24The size of it goes up and down.
06:26It just goes through the roof.
06:28Yeah.
06:28I mean, I remember the parade here in Los Angeles after in 12.
06:31Looking into the people on the side, and you would see grandfather, father, son,
06:36and his son.
06:37Yeah.
06:37You'd see four generations of people.
06:40That proved to me that, yes, we do have roots here.
06:42Well, when you guys won those Cups, I was living in downtown Los Angeles.
06:46And the whole downtown core was just electric.
06:49Here we go.
06:49Oh, my gosh.
06:51We got some bling.
06:52Look at that.
06:53That's 14.
06:54That's 12.
06:55You have to be a hockey player to wear these things because they weigh a ton.
06:58They do.
06:58A year ago, I lost this race.
07:00Oh, my God.
07:01I was at a wine event.
07:02And I brought some wine.
07:03And I was packing my car.
07:04And my hand was wet.
07:06We were working with ice and water.
07:07Must have fell.
07:08Anyway, it falls off.
07:09We look for it.
07:10Cannot find it.
07:11So about four months ago, I get it replaced.
07:13Yeah.
07:13A month ago, my wife is in the back of our truck.
07:16It holds eight people.
07:17In the very back seat.
07:18And she's trying to dig that seat belt thing out.
07:21Yeah.
07:21She digs it out.
07:24Oh.
07:24Finds this one.
07:25The original one.
07:26Oh, wow.
07:27So what we're going to do is we're going to get the one we had made resized for her.
07:31And she can wear it.
07:33Oh, that's nice.
07:34You seem like a good husband.
07:35Oh, no.
07:37Well, I got to thank you so much for giving your time to us as a fan of yours, as
07:41a player
07:41and a broadcaster.
07:42It's really nice to meet you.
07:43Santé.
07:45Santé.
07:46This is really good, by the way.
07:52It's time to leave the beach and meet King's in arena host Mikey Alexander at El Cholo,
07:58a fan favorite restaurant, a five minute walk from the arena where King's players, staff
08:03and fans come for Mexican food and good times.
08:09I'm talking to Mikey Alexander.
08:10Hi, everybody.
08:11Who is the in arena host for the LA Kings.
08:14Yes.
08:14How do you pronounce Kayla's last week?
08:16Kayla Canerum.
08:17Canerum.
08:17Oh, you do pronounce the K.
08:18You do pronounce the K, yes.
08:20How long have you and Kayla been doing it together?
08:21So we've been doing it for eight years together.
08:23And the energy you guys put out is amazing.
08:25I mean, to keep the crowd going, keep the energy up, keep people focused.
08:29I'm not lying when I say this.
08:30I pinch myself every time I'm in the arena because it's an absolute dream.
08:34Oh, there.
08:34Oh, there.
08:35Now that's some guacamole.
08:37Oh, thank you so much.
08:39That smells fantastic.
08:39Oh, that looks delicious.
08:40You go first.
08:41When the season ends, it's a bummer.
08:43If you don't win the cup, that's the ultimate goal.
08:45Yeah.
08:45And so I try to tell fans, like, look, at the end of the year, there's 31 other fan bases
08:49that are just as upset as we are.
08:51Like, it's hard to win a Stanley Cup.
08:53Well, I have to amend what you said there.
08:54I think there's 30 other franchises that are as upset as you are.
08:58And then there's Toronto.
08:59And then there's Toronto.
09:00Yeah, that is true.
09:00Okay, that is true.
09:01Yeah.
09:01That shows why it's the power of sports.
09:03Yeah.
09:03Because there's got to be something greater than just the winning.
09:05Yeah.
09:07Oh, that looks so good.
09:08Hot play, okay?
09:09Did we go look at the same thing?
09:11We did.
09:11Look at that.
09:12We did.
09:12Oh, yeah.
09:12See, best friends.
09:13You need that feeling of being a part of a group of people.
09:16A hundred percent.
09:16I think sports really do that.
09:18And then hockey does it in a particularly intense way.
09:21In the best of ways, too, right?
09:23Have you ever had a bad day and you go to a game and it cheers you up?
09:25Oh, my God, yes.
09:26Me, too.
09:26There's like a psychic energy about being a group of people focused on anything.
09:32Mm-hmm.
09:32I mean, same thing when people go to church.
09:34You know, last year, we had the fires out here in California.
09:38And within 24 hours, and I'm not making this up, within 24 hours, we set up a donation center at
09:42our training facility.
09:43We had Kings fans lined up donating stuff.
09:46I mean, we were running out of trucks to load up stuff.
09:48It's not just what we do in the arena.
09:49It's what we do in the community.
09:51I'm sure you know fans and friends that have, like, tattoos of their favorite player.
09:54Yeah.
09:54Do you have any tattoos?
09:55I have no tattoos.
09:56Me, too.
09:57None at all.
09:57I'm too wimpy for them.
09:58If you had to get a tattoo, what would you get?
10:00I guess it would probably be that hang in there, kitty.
10:02That's a good one.
10:03Yeah, I think that would be it.
10:04Yeah.
10:05Just like the full-on poster?
10:06No, full chest.
10:06All across the chest.
10:08Hang in there, kitty.
10:09Go to Venice Beach.
10:10Show that off for the ladies.
10:11Let's go.
10:12You want some of this?
10:14Yeah.
10:14Well, Mikey, I got to thank you so much for taking some time out of your game today.
10:18No need to thank me.
10:19I thank you.
10:19This has been such an amazing experience.
10:22And I've been to a lot of games where you were doing your thing and enjoyed your work.
10:26Oh, well, thank you.
10:26And we'll see you at the Kings game.
10:27You better believe it.
10:28Be loud for me, okay?
10:29Oh, yeah.
10:29Okay, good.
10:33To wrap up day one, I'm going to walk to the Crypto.com Arena and talk about the Kings'
10:38history and future with their president and Hockey Hall of Famer, Luke Robitaille.
10:45It's so nice to get to sit down with you because I moved to Los Angeles from Toronto in 95.
10:50Uh-huh.
10:51And you go to see the games at the Forum.
10:53Yeah.
10:53And I, in fact, once brought a former Miss Canada to a Kings game at the Forum, Danielle House.
11:00Uh-huh.
11:00Who I'm very proud of because she had her crown taken away for getting in a bar fight.
11:04Oh, really?
11:05Nice.
11:07Only in Canada that would happen.
11:11I mean, you obviously have had a tremendous career as a player.
11:15Uh-huh.
11:16I believe you're a Hall of Famer.
11:18I don't know if you know that.
11:19Do you remember that?
11:19I do remember that.
11:20Yeah.
11:20That was fun.
11:21I mean, obviously, there's a few sore spots.
11:23Okay.
11:24Because I don't want to bring this.
11:25I don't know if I should bring this up, but I'm-
11:27No, you can bring it up.
11:27I'm friends with Dougie Gilmore.
11:29Yeah, yeah, yeah.
11:30And you can't mention the year 93.
11:32Yeah.
11:32Or to him, sir.
11:33No, but no.
11:34I love him.
11:35He's such a great competitor.
11:37After all these years, can you admit the penalty was missed?
11:40Well, yeah, but that happens every shift.
11:43Of course it does.
11:44Every one of us in Canada says they're doing a good game tonight.
11:47They're letting him play.
11:48You know what that means when they're letting him play?
11:50They're not calling any penalties.
11:51I know.
11:52That sort of means.
11:52Yeah, but you know Toronto will never get over it.
11:54I know.
11:54Even though we did lose.
11:56We did lose the next game fair and square.
11:58They sure skated next to Gretz the whole time.
12:01Yeah.
12:02I always compare hockey in Canada to soccer in Brazil.
12:06Yes.
12:06It's like that's it.
12:08There's nothing else.
12:08Are you enjoying being president now?
12:11Yeah, I enjoy it a lot.
12:12I'm fortunate that I still work with a game that I was playing when I was seven years old.
12:16Yeah.
12:16And the role you've played in the community here.
12:18Yeah.
12:19Has been, you've been a big deal in terms of like raising the profile of hockey in Los Angeles.
12:23The funnest thing is being in the draft the last six, seven years and having kids come out.
12:29But they're like, they played in El Segundo or in Orange County or San Diego or San Jose.
12:34It's fascinating.
12:35The kid Lacongue.
12:36I remember playing on our rink.
12:38A little goalie in Calgary, like a superstar.
12:41Dustin Wolfe.
12:42Yeah.
12:42I remember watching him.
12:44He was a peewee.
12:44Yeah.
12:45Stopping pucks for our Junior Kings.
12:47It's fascinating to me.
12:48And now you're also, I think you're making your film debut.
12:50You'll be in the movie Youngblood coming.
12:52Oh, no.
12:53I've learned enough that they could cut you out real quickly.
12:56So.
12:56Yeah.
12:56Well, I got to say your French Canadian accent is way better than Keanu's.
13:00Oh, yeah.
13:02So I'll give you that vote of confidence.
13:04But it's so nice to get to meet you.
13:06This is fun for us.
13:07Thank you so much.
13:07All right.
13:08Such a pleasure.
13:11To start day two, I'm meeting with Jen Pope to learn how the team is growing the game
13:16and making hockey more inclusive while giving back to the community.
13:20I'm here with Jen Pope.
13:22Yeah.
13:22Senior Vice President of Business and Community Development.
13:25Did I get it right?
13:26Yes.
13:26Very good.
13:27That's good because I'm not that smart.
13:28So it's really a battle.
13:30So what sort of things have you been up to with the team?
13:32When I started here at the foundation, we really wanted to show the fans where their money was going.
13:37So our first commitment was Children's Hospital Los Angeles and we committed a million dollars
13:42and we started the LA Kings Blood Mobile.
13:44We have a mobile that goes around Los Angeles collecting blood and gives back to the hospital.
13:49Voluntarily.
13:50Voluntarily.
13:51Yeah, that's important.
13:52There's two reasons why it's important because not everyone has the money to buy a jersey or a ticket, etc.
13:56No.
13:57But if anyone wants to give back, they can donate blood.
13:59Yeah.
13:59After the success of that, we built a $2.5 million science exhibit at the Discovery Cube LA.
14:05And we've also, within the last six years or so, developed our We Are All Kings program.
14:10Yes.
14:10And the We Are All Kings program sort of an outreach to welcome every community in Los Angeles into the
14:16world of hockey, right?
14:17Absolutely.
14:18You know, hockey is notoriously known for being expensive, right?
14:20You can't just pick up a ball and go to the park.
14:22Yes.
14:22So we want to show how easy and fun and inclusive hockey can be.
14:28So we start with ball hockey.
14:30Which is really fun.
14:31It's so much fun.
14:32I still love playing ball hockey.
14:33And it's not as intimidating as people think, right?
14:36You just need to stick in a ball and, like, these kids have a blast.
14:38Yeah.
14:38And from there, you know, we want to continue the children in to learn to skate at our rinks.
14:43So getting them on the skates, learning, like, teaching them how to skate.
14:46And then from there, into our Little Kings program, which is a full set of equipment.
14:49It's six lessons.
14:50They learn how to get dressed.
14:52They interact with Blake Bolden.
14:53We are so fortunate to have.
14:55She was the first African-American professional female hockey player.
14:58And she's just, I can't even say enough good things about her.
15:01She's so passionate about it.
15:03She's with us day in and day out.
15:04She's helping us develop the programming and something we're really proud about.
15:08In my lifetime, I've seen such a huge change in the game.
15:10Yeah.
15:11And even, like, in my time living in Los Angeles.
15:13I've lived here 27 years.
15:14And I've seen the team grow a broad-based popularity through the city in the years that I've been here.
15:20So I think you're doing a pretty good job at it.
15:22So thank you.
15:22Thank you so much for taking the time to talk to us.
15:25Thanks for being here.
15:25And glad we have you as a Kings fan.
15:28They're my second home team.
15:29Okay.
15:29We'll take it.
15:30Yeah.
15:31I'm meeting actor and L.A. Kings superfan, Shanae Grimes Beach.
15:35Star of 90210, Degrassi and Scream.
15:38We're going for a pre-game brunch at Zinke.
15:41A 10-minute walk from the arena.
15:46Have you spent much time in downtown L.A.?
15:48I have spent quite a bit of time in L.A.
15:51Yeah.
15:52It's my old neighbor.
15:52I lived here for eight years in downtown.
15:54Really?
15:55I haven't been here in a while.
15:57Well, first, you're a bit of an enigma because you are a Kings fan.
16:01I am.
16:02And solely a Kings fan.
16:04Solely a Kings fan.
16:05But you're from Toronto.
16:06I am.
16:07I'm sorry, Torontonians.
16:09I know.
16:10As a Torontonian, I've always said that being a Leafs fan is a birth defect.
16:14Sure.
16:14You can't do anything about it.
16:15But you were born there, but you did not get into hockey until you moved to Los Angeles?
16:20Well, you know, I think when you're Canadian, you're born to love hockey.
16:24You don't even really realize that until you leave the country and realize that that's not normal for everybody else.
16:30Yes.
16:30You realize I just want to talk about hockey and socialized medicine every day all day.
16:35Kind of.
16:36That's pretty much it.
16:37I mean, they're both great things.
16:39You know?
16:39When I moved to L.A., I had a unique experience that introduced me to the Kings.
16:46And I think it became woven into, like, the fabric of my adulthood journey.
16:51Yeah.
16:52I got to sit in a very special box, Luke Robitaille's special box.
16:56Oh, wow.
16:56I got to sit in between the players' benches.
16:58Yes, nice.
16:59And once you have that experience at a hockey game, there's no looking back.
17:03That is very cool.
17:04It was cool because it was really the beginning of the Brownie and Kopitar and Dowdy era.
17:12Yes.
17:13And so those guys were pretty similar in age to me.
17:17Yeah.
17:17Kind of having the beginnings of this huge chapter in their careers as well.
17:22Yes.
17:22They're building to become Stanley Cup champions.
17:24You know?
17:25Like, it was wild.
17:27And just crazy fond core memories were made of me in that arena.
17:32Yeah.
17:32Surrounded by these kings.
17:34Here comes our food.
17:35Oh, lovely.
17:36Sure.
17:36Thank you so much.
17:37I got the scrambler, right?
17:39A scrambler.
17:39Scrambler's here, too.
17:40Well, thank you so much.
17:41Thank you very much.
17:43Now, when you became a Kings fan, your family back home.
17:45Yeah.
17:46Do they still accept you as a member of the family?
17:48I wasn't disowned.
17:49Yeah.
17:50Well, that's good.
17:51They're definitely Leafs fans, for sure.
17:53Yeah.
17:54Even someone like my mom.
17:55She's not into sports, really.
17:57But when playoff season is upon us, I mean, this woman is like feral.
18:02Like, she is just a diehard Leafs fan.
18:07Yeah.
18:07But it brings it out in all of us, you know?
18:09It's true.
18:10Yeah.
18:10It's hockey, healthcare, and Anne-Marie.
18:12It's what binds the country.
18:16So, you're now in New York.
18:18Mm-hmm.
18:19Do you only go to hockey games when the Leafs are playing?
18:23No, I've been to some games without the Leafs there.
18:26Okay.
18:27Do you wear their jersey?
18:31I have.
18:33I'm putting you on the spot.
18:35I have.
18:35I have worn the Rangers jersey.
18:36Uh-huh.
18:37I have a Rangers hat.
18:38A hat?
18:39Yeah.
18:39Okay.
18:40We're accessorizing.
18:41It's hard to make room for three teams in your heart.
18:43Yeah, that's a lot.
18:44And how's your breakfast?
18:45It's actually so good.
18:46I was like, I don't really eat breakfast.
18:48Me?
18:48I'm cleaning my plate.
18:50We're going to head over and see an afternoon game.
18:52And we're going to be joined by Daniel and Dakota, his little daughter at the game.
18:56Oh.
18:57And she's six years old, and she's a big Kings fan.
19:01As soon as I told my husband that I was coming here to do this with you, the superfan
19:05himself is going to be flying in, literally for like six hours only, to join us at the game.
19:11Well, I'm looking forward to meeting you.
19:12Go Kings, go!
19:14I'm ready.
19:15Great.
19:20After brunch, it's time to head to Crypto.com Arena, home of the LA Kings to meet up with
19:25Shanae's husband, musician Josh Beach, and LA Kings superfans Danny and Dakota.
19:32Here, Shanae and Josh.
19:34Hello, this is my husband, Josh.
19:36This is Daniel and Daniel and Dakota down here.
19:40Hi.
19:40Yeah?
19:41Are you excited?
19:42Oh, me too.
19:43I am, I'm too.
19:45Yeah, you too.
19:47We're all about Dakota.
19:48This should be a fun game.
19:50Yeah, call 8.
19:51Yeah.
19:51We're going to beat the crap out of them.
19:53Yeah.
19:54It's one of the great rivalry.
19:56Should we go head on inside?
19:57Yeah.
19:58All right.
19:59Okay.
20:04Before the puck drop, we're going to stop by and say a quick hello to Jim Fox.
20:08Go Kings, go!
20:10Go Kings, go!
20:11Yay!
20:13After seeing Jim, there's a pre-game fan event.
20:17We're going to get to meet some of the Kings players, like the legendary Ange Kopitar and the equally legendary
20:25Drew Doughty.
20:27Hi.
20:28How are you doing?
20:31I'm here.
20:33There we go.
20:34It's time to fuel up, re-game, and we're going to try some of the best food in the arena.
20:40We're going to try some of these potato ring things.
20:42This is the most American thing I've ever seen here in my career.
20:45These nachos taste like hockey.
20:47We'll have to cut off the hot dogs.
20:49Well, me and Dave could hold an end each.
20:50Yeah, and just waiting in the cramping.
20:52Yeah, but you know, we'll fall in love.
20:55We will.
20:56Raise yourselves.
20:57Yeah.
20:57Where's the nearest liposuction station?
21:00That's what we can find.
21:03Fans, food, fun, alliteration, and now it's game time.
21:12Go Kings, go!
21:14Go Kings, go!
21:16Piala, see pass.
21:17Highfield shoots.
21:18Highfield scores on the power play.
21:21Hey, hey, hey!
21:24Rebound, it's rolled!
21:26Into the top corner.
21:27Carlson cuts in, shoots, and he scores!
21:30They tied the game at 4 by Dowdy.
21:43This was fun and I wasn't expecting such a dramatic game absolutely. It was way more
21:49exciting than it really needed to be. But I'm glad it was on the edge of our seats. And
21:56for me it's great to be back in my adopted hometown of Los Angeles, you know, love this
22:01city so much and I love this team, the L.A. Kings. Thanks for making this such a special
22:07day. Thank you. And I appreciate you all. Thank you. This is a once in a lifetime experience.
22:12All right. All right. Thank you. Thank you again. Cheers. Cheers. Cheers. Cheers. Thank
22:17you so much. See you from Los Angeles. Good night, everybody.
22:31you
