00:06But Antonio Cierno of Las Vegas found one way to deal with it.
00:10He took a crowbar to a gas pump in Lodi, California,
00:13then hot-wired it to dispense about 500 gallons of diesel for free.
00:17Creative? Yes. Legal? Nah.
00:20He was loading it into extra tanks he had installed underneath his truck.
00:24Another customer at the station thought Cierno was taking an awfully long time to fill up
00:29and turned him in.
00:30Cops impounded the truck and recovered the fuel,
00:32but the damage to the pump is estimated to be about 10 grand.
00:35Now, the owner of the station told a local television station
00:38that this is the second time in the last year that his business has been targeted.
00:42Thieves stole 6,500 gallons of diesel from him in a previous incident.
