Loogy says Pitino is just a couple wins away from being the greatest college basketball head coach ever.
Transcript
00:00You know, Rick Pitino is on the verge of being the greatest college coach of all time.
00:08This is a man that has taken now four teams to the Sweet 16.
00:13He's won two national championships, one at Kentucky, one at Louisville.
00:19If he adds a third championship with three different teams,
00:25not to take anything away from the great head coaches that established themselves one program
00:30and built dynasties and were there for decades,
00:34but I think it says something about Rick Pitino and his brilliance as a head coach
00:38that he could go to different programs, different universities,
00:42and have success no matter where he is coaching.
00:49Like, that takes an extra special head coach,
00:54and that's exactly what Rick Pitino is.
00:56And he's got a long way to go here.
00:59There's some obstacles in his way and some all-time coaches
01:04that he could be meeting in the next round if St. John's gets by Duke.
01:09But Rick Pitino is only a couple of wins away, in my opinion,
01:14from being, not arguably, not in the conversation,
01:19but the greatest he would be if he wins the championship here with St. John's.
01:24The greatest college basketball coach of all time.
