00:12Ce n'est-ce qu'il y a une nouvelle vidéo qui a été créée des individuels qui ont été
00:17fait en fire à l'ambulance.
00:21Ils sont à l'ambulance à l'intérieur de cette location.
00:22Vous voyez trois masques individuels, ils approchent l'ambulance,
00:50'ambulance
00:50dans le city's Golders-Green neighborhood, c'est un anti-Semitic hate crime.
00:53This is security camera footage that's been shared with CNN.
00:56It shows three masques people approach an ambulance belonging to a Jewish volunteer rescue group
01:01and then set it on fire.
01:03The neighborhood, it is home to a large Jewish population.
01:06We'll continue to follow any new developments on the story and bring them to you as they become available.
01:10London police say they are investigating an apparent arson attack
01:14in the city's Golders-Green neighborhood as an anti-Semitic hate crime.
01:18This security camera footage, shared with CNN, shows three masked individuals approaching an ambulance
01:25belonging to a Jewish volunteer rescue group.
01:27They then set it on fire.
01:30The neighborhood is home to a large Jewish population.
01:35CNN's Claire Sebastian is at the scene for us now and joins us with the latest.
01:39Claire, what can you tell us about what's happening there right now?
01:43Yeah, good morning, Ben.
01:44You can see I'm just standing in front of a police cordon here.
01:47They've closed the road.
01:48It's fairly calm and quiet.
01:50They say that the fire and those explosions that the London Fire Brigade talked about
01:55that are now attributing to potentially gas canisters in those ambulances.
02:00That was around 1.30 in the morning or just gone 1.30 in the morning.
02:04They had it under control by 3 o'clock in the morning.
02:05So there's no sign of fire now, but there is a fire engine just parked down the road.
02:12And I've seen firefighters sort of milling around down there.
02:16But what I can tell you is that this is a community that is extremely shocked and shaken
02:21by what has happened.
02:22Obviously, we're now six months or so out from that attack on the synagogue in Manchester,
02:27deadly attack on the synagogue in Manchester, which led to extra security being put in place.
02:31It's not clear if any was actually in place of the synagogue around where those ambulances
02:37were parked and set on fire.
02:39So questions perhaps will be raised about that.
02:42But people are very upset and very shocked because this was pretty dramatic.
02:46They say that a couple of residents I spoke to say that they had several loud explosions
02:50in the early hours of the morning.
02:51One said that she felt that smoke could actually come into her living room.
02:55She lives just around the corner.
02:57So pretty dramatic events.
02:58As you say, Met Police say they're treating this as an anti-Semitic hate crime.
03:03Three suspects are being searched for, but no arrests have been made as of yet.
03:08And we also know that local residents in this area have been evacuated.
03:12Those explosions did apparently cause, according to the fire raid, some windows to break in a
03:16block of flats opposite.
03:18So pretty dramatic events in this suburb of North London here.
03:23Gold is green.
03:23One of the areas in London, I will say, with the highest concentration of synagogues and Jewish
03:28schools, a very large Jewish population here.
03:31And people are very shocked and very upset here this morning, Ben.
03:35It is still very early in London and is obviously broke overnight.
03:40What kind of reaction are you expecting to see over the next few hours?
03:44Well, look, I think we will start to see more officials coming out.
03:48I spoke to one gentleman who is running for local council here.
03:52So he obviously wanted to come down.
03:53He lives just around the corner and see what was happening.
03:55So we'll be looking for more official reaction from sort of community leaders who will very
04:01likely come down here.
04:03It is a close knit community and obviously an event that will have people, you know, wanting
04:09to rally together and come together, given that now the police are calling this or say they're
04:15treating this as an anti-Semitic hate crime, Ben.
