C'è una nuova espansione in arrivo per Train Simulator 2014, ovvero, come dice abbastanza esplicitamente il titolo del gioco, la nuova edizione del "simulatore di treno". Il DLC si chiama Pacific Surfliner e si basa sulle tratte ferroviarie della California in riva all'oceano. Il gioco si presenta sia come espansione scaricabile che come titolo standalone, e il video riportato qua, seguendo lo stile dei trailer della serie, rappresenta una vera e propria ode ai treni e alle ferrovie.
