00:35Today I'm playing Baolun, a fierce barbarian warlord from the Mingpu tribes. His war banner
00:42is orange and he is awesome because he is the only warlord to command elephant armies.
00:47While he is physically strong, he is not very intellectual, so he doesn't want to build
00:51any libraries or centres of learning. Over here, I've encountered some of my rival warlords.
00:57There are 9 pretenders to the throne at the moment, but soon there will be none because
01:01I plan to be the next Autumn Emperor. To do so, however, I am going to need to unite all
01:0841 provinces of the Kingdom Under Heaven, and that is not going to be an easy task. Luckily,
01:15I have my loyal officer, Ming Puig. And as you can see these three orange flags on the province,
01:21she is getting closer to their city gates. Look at these blue flags on this neutral grey
01:27province. Iron Zhao is away conquering some inoffensive neutrals, and I am going to take
01:32every advantage of this situation. Ming Puig is currently leading my invasion of the Moon
01:37Fa fields, the city of my hated enemy, Iron Zhao. Before I attack this city, I plan to soften
01:44up the defenders a little. I have sent Ming Puig to infiltrate this city, and let's take
01:50a look at what she has uncovered. There are various mission categories I can undertake that
01:56can undermine this city. For example, domestic espionage may cause a drop in the city's order,
02:01resulting in chaos and possible revolt. The success of each mission depends on my officer's stats.
02:08For example, the weakened army mission depends on Ming Puig's strength and intellect ratings.
02:17On the other hand, the bribed army mission hinges on her charisma in intellect. Now, for this

03:24to deal with 6 enemy armies instead of the original 7. Thanks to Min Pui, it's excellent command.
03:31I am victorious! Now that we are inside the city, I have a choice
03:37of targets to attack. Should I hit the military archives or the inner city? Again, our intelligence
03:44network keeps us informed of the defenders, and this time there are none. Without any opposition,
03:51I will only need a single army to take over the inner city, but which one shall I choose?
03:57The armies and decrees I have used on my previous attack will be unavailable until the next turn.
04:04This is a boring fight. I shall automatically resolve it.
04:14The palace is now within reach, but I shall wait another turn to conquer it. I need to keep
04:20some troops fresh, just in case the neighbouring province attacks me instead.
04:25In the meantime, I shall attend to my empire. The panel at the top left tells me I have 5303
04:33gold.
04:34I shall put this gold to good use and construct some buildings.
04:39The Hian forests remain underdeveloped, and I intend to add an infirmary to this city so
04:45that my troops can recover here. Unfortunately, an infirmary can only be built in a city with
04:51a military camp, so I shall need to build that first. I must keep this tech tree in mind,
04:57because each province has limited building sites, so I must choose carefully what to construct
05:02in every city. I can also upgrade my buildings. My elephants are trained at reserves, and if
05:09I upgrade them to level 2, my elephants will gain the rest ability, which will allow them
05:14to recover hit points during a battle. Now I still have a little more gold. I shall proceed
05:22to my camp to train more armies. Another elephant unit will bolster the strength of my empire.
05:30I shall also reinforce my frontlines by moving troops from the Sang'an woods to the Hian forests.
05:39When all my moves are completed, it is now time to end my turn.

05:52As the plague spreads through Ion Tzao's provinces, his strength wanes and soon I shall be victorious.
