00:02Hey, what's up? Tony Hawk here. I'm here to talk about Tony Hawk's Pro Skater HD. It is our new
00:07release, basically the best of Tony Hawk Pro Skater 1 and 2, but for all the new systems in HD,
00:14better graphics, better motion, but also the same gameplay that we had in our traditional games. It's something I've been
00:19wanting to do for a while now. I was hoping Activision would want to do it, and here we are.
00:24Finally, it's a reality. It's being released.
00:28In the spirit of doing the best of our first two games, we handpicked each level based on popularity, so
00:35we start with The Warehouse, which is the original first level on THPS1, but now it's in beautiful HD. I
00:41mean, if you think about the first level, it was on PS1 and Xbox, and now we're on PS3s and
00:47Xbox 360s, so the difference is amazing, and people are going to be surprised at how much detail you can
00:52actually put in those levels that they've come to know and love.
00:54We put School 2 in, Home of the Infamous, Leap of Faith, a really good level for doing different grind
01:00lines and getting combos, and it looks amazing, obviously in HD.
01:04We have the hangar, which features the airplane, halfpipe in the middle, rainbow rails across it. The lighting's amazing in
01:11that level.
01:13And then we have the mall, which has some crazy long lines going up and over and down into the
01:19basement.
01:20If anyone remembers, there was the secret hidden stash of Apocalypse games. Neversoft's little joke on themselves.
01:26We have Venice Beach, which features a lot of the landmarks that you know in Venice Beach. It's the same
01:30level that was on the original games.
01:33The level takes place during sunset, so the lighting is very dramatic. It looks awesome.
01:41We have Marseille, which is a legendary bowl in France, and is also a competition level.
01:46I'm super excited for people to see what Marseille really does look like, because this looks like the real Marseille
01:52with graffiti and everything.
01:55I'm not gonna lie, this level is one that I basically put in there by sheer force, Downhill Jam.
02:01I wouldn't say it was one of the most popular levels, but it was the first one we ever did
02:04that had a start and finish.
02:06And so you actually make it downhill, and it had huge quarter pipes, huge rails, and went over everything.
02:12We have some of the classic skaters from the first games. We have some new skaters as well.
02:16I'm in there. Rodney Mullen, Lindsey Adams Hawkins, Eric Hosten, we have Andrew Reynolds, we have Nyjah Houston, Chris Cole,
02:24and my son Riley.
02:25We also have the option to use your Xbox avatar, so if you want to be in the game, go
02:31be in it.
02:33We have online modes, and probably some of the ones you're familiar with, like Trick Attack, trying to do your
02:38best high-scoring trick,
02:39and challenge your buddies to beat your score. We have Graffiti, where you're trying to change all the different obstacles
02:45to your color,
02:46by doing better tricks on them. Big Head mode, and Free Skate, of course, so you can just jam with
02:51your bros.
02:52We also have some offline modes as well. We have Hawkman mode from Tony Hawk's Proving Ground.
02:58Okay, so we're jumping the gun a little bit there, but it is one of our favorite offline modes, so
03:01we're bringing it into this.
03:03We have Big Head Survival mode, which is new, but uses the same theory of you've got the big head,
03:09you've got to stay alive.
03:10And we have a new mode, Projectives, you know, professional objectives. It's like what you live as a pro skater.
03:16And then, of course, if you don't want any pressure, you just want to cruise around, Free Skate.
03:23We will be releasing downloadable content, DLC, for the series, and the next batch of levels will be from Tony
03:29Hawk's Pro Skater 3.
03:30You might have already heard that we have the airport level in the works, but I'm here to tell you
03:35exclusively,
03:36for the first time, you also have Los Angeles and Canada. You're welcome.
03:41So with this new release, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater HD, and obviously the DLC that's coming out for it,
03:46with the new levels and the new riders and the new tricks, we're back.
03:50So I'm going to get back and try to beat my score, because I know you guys out there are
03:54going to challenge me online, but I'm ready.
