00:00Throughout your career, what's one piece of advice that you've been given that stuck with you?
00:04Well, two pieces of advice I was given, which I ignored when I was young.
00:09One was, don't take drugs, and the other one was, pay your taxes, which is sort of mildly amusing,
00:15but it's also, I really, really wish I had paid attention.
00:19And the other is not to be awed by people's reputations, because reputations are unreliable,
00:26and you should let people prove it, rather than just assume that their reputation reflects who they are now.
00:33And that, you know, if you have imposter syndrome and you are deeply insecure, so is everybody else.
