00:17Let's go find out how the game came to be.
00:20Durante il panel, Mr. Kamiya ha parlato di un'idea per il game.
00:27So this game actually started when the president and CEO of Platinum, Tatsumi Nami,
00:31came up to me and said, hey, I want you to make a game that's got all of Nintendo's All
00:35-Stars characters in it.
00:40He also shared some concept art.
00:45When I took a look at this picture and I told her to keep working on it,
00:50I also told her that he was too bald, and she was like, no, I like bald guys.
00:56And I was like, no, no, no, no, you need to give him some more hair.
00:59And that's where we got to the next picture, which is coming up.
01:06So, normally in the games I've made up until this point,
01:08we've always worked with a single protagonist,
01:10but obviously since there's a hundred heroes in this,
01:12we couldn't do a hundred protagonists.
01:14So I had to pick seven, and we picked the main seven members for the script.
01:20So, this is kind of our blueprint for how we figure out how many, you know,
01:27character models we need to make, or how many cutscenes we need to create.
01:29Everything can be figured out just by looking at this script.
01:35Mr. Kamiya talked about how the voice actors were selected.
01:40So, this is what we call character sides,
01:43and they actually describe everything about the character
01:46that you need to know for doing voice recordings.
01:48I know that there's a lot of Tara Strong fans, so Tara is Wonderpink.
01:55During voice recording, Kamiya-san and I would just kind of sit back
01:58and watch Tara perform, because it was just so hilarious.
02:01She's tiny, and she just gets so energetic in the booth.
02:04It was awesome.
02:14Once the panel was over, there was time for a Q&A.
02:20Yeah, so that sounds like a 3DS version sounds like it'd be a lot of fun.
02:30And if we ever do get the chance to make a Wonder 102, we definitely want you guys to give
02:35us all your ideas on what kind of new wonders you'd like to see.
02:39But it didn't end without a surprise, where he revealed some hidden characters.
02:45All right, so since all of you put that faith in us and came out here today,
02:49we figured we'd share one last special thing that's only being shown here for you guys before you left.
03:07So the three people that you see on screen right now are actually hidden in the Wonderful 101,
03:12so definitely play the game and do your best to find where they are.
03:16He then talked about the company culture of Platinum Games and had a heartwarming message for the audience.
03:22I think that what makes Platinum really special in this regard is that we view everything as teamwork,
03:29and that teamwork is at the core of how we both structure the company and make games,
03:34so we don't use any partitions in the office,
03:36and everyone has a say about everything and can freely talk about whatever.
03:40And so when they do, we make something that turns into something really amazing,
03:44and I think that that's happened here with the Wonderful 101.
03:49You guys were awesome. Have a great last day at PAX.
03:51Thank you.
03:52Thank you.
03:58Thank you.
04:04The Wonderful 101 will be out September 15th.
04:07Thanks for watching.
04:08Thank you.
