17:36you and you and and, you know, you try to see all we're gonna ok for you, you know, you
17:55and so you, and I,
17:57for five words, five words, very simple. Your reaction is their reward. Think about it. Think
18:06about it. The way you were acting, you know, fall out of, out of who you are and just start
18:12that impulsive, that's a reward. That's exactly what the enemy wants. He's like, thank you. That's
18:18all I wanted to get you to do is act a fool out of who you misrepresent and not be
18:23exactly what
18:24you. So, and so remember that your reaction is their reward. That was why it was started from
18:31the beginning. All right. And so understanding the peace and governmental stability, that's what it
18:40takes to rule your inner being. Okay. You're not to allow this chaos and confusion to always be around
18:50you. And listen, the enemy, absolutely. This is what he lives off of. He feeds off of this kind of
18:57thing. I've been saying for years, if you can understand how your impulse, your outburst,
19:04you're feeding, that's exactly, you know, what he lives off of. And he'll always use it to get you
19:14because you're feeding it so well. And so again, your reaction is their reward. You want to really
19:20pay attention. Now, 1 Corinthians chapter 14 and verse 33, the book of Corinthians does a lot of
19:28wonderful teaching in terms of dealing with your inner man. And so 1 Corinthians 14, 33 says,
19:36for God is not the author of confusion. Now notice whatever God says one way, you better know the
19:43enemy wants to keep it going another way. If he says he's not the author of confusion,
19:48then that's exactly what he wants to bring around you and cause you to be in the midst of chaos
19:53and
19:53confusion. It goes on to say, but God, he's the God of peace as in all the churches of the
19:59saints.
20:00So again, Paul, again, he's reiterating to those who are supposed to know these things already,
20:06but obviously they're not doing, and that's why he's writing to them. So this is authority
20:12of self-governance. You're going to hear me say that a lot because we have overlooked the spirit
20:18of the living God, the Holy Spirit, and don't understand the power of having him living in us
20:26is so we are better governed from the inside, not the outside. When you don't govern the inside,
20:35there'll always be someone on the outside telling you what you need to do and what you don't need to
20:39do.
20:39And so this is very serious. The first territory that any ruler must control is not a city or
20:48something outside of him. It's within one's self. That is the first area of rulership. That is your
20:56first territory. All right. Proverbs chapter 16 and verse 32. And yes, we have quite a few scriptures,
21:04but I think it'll help you in your arsenal of preparing for what is to come because things do
21:10come and catch us off guard, but this is what preparation is all about. And so Proverbs 16 and 32
21:17says this, whoever is slow to anger is better than the mighty and who rules their own spirit
21:27is better than one that can take a whole city. So look at how important this is in terms of
21:34what
21:34the scripture is saying in the kingdom. Impulsiveness is not excused because we use these as well. That's
21:42just that they know how I am. They shouldn't have said that. That's just the way I am. That's my
21:47personality. That's how I'm wired. That's not true. Those are, you know, excuses that people use.
21:54And I'm going to tell you something. It's not just the way you are. It's a lack of rulership. It's
22:02a
22:02lack of management. Okay. It's a lack of control or, you know, these outbursts and well, I'm just being
22:11real. No, you know, that's failure to self govern oneself. And when you have the Holy spirit, what an
22:21insult that is to him to be there with you, watching you when he is the one that can absolutely
22:27help you to manage that and you ignore him. This is why the kingdom teaching is, is so important now,
22:36because when you start teaching kingdom, you cannot teach kingdom and not become more and more conscious
22:42of the inner presence of the Holy spirit of the living God. So in kingdom, the being being swift
22:51to speak is not a sign of intelligence as some would think so. You know, that is not wise, nor
22:59is
22:59it smart. It actually, it's a sign of insecurity. You know, what do you have to prove? And why do
23:05you
23:05have to, who is this person that has that kind of control over you? Self-governing can be trusted
23:12with influence. Okay. But it has to be something that you are in control of. God wants to use you
23:24to
23:24influence your generation and in many cases, an entire nation. So God's kingdom does not give public
23:35authority to private chaos. He won't do it. And a lot of times we're not seeing our authority being
23:46recognized properly or honored. And in many cases, disrespect it. Well, come on now, we have to start
23:53really stepping up here, step up your game and be the kind of representative that the, you know,
23:59kingdom of God has called us to be. If you cannot hold your tongue for what, three seconds or five
24:06seconds, or even seven seconds of some, then, then you're letting the unseen realm, the demonic realm
24:13know that anyone can press your button and like a loose cannon off you, you go. You know, I remember
24:23the old saying, loose lips sink ships. It's like you, you're just not really someone who's in control.
24:31You know, again, pause, take a deep breath and then speak. Okay. You got this. Practice this as,
24:43as the royal discipline of a ruler. Okay. Three seconds or five seconds, seven, whatever it takes
24:53for you. All right. To invoke your inner spirit. And then, and then when you speak, you're not merely
25:01talking. You are decreeing, you're making a decree. Okay. And the authority of the kingdom that you
25:09represent will back you in that moment. We are not having the backing of the kingdom because we're not
25:15responding. We're reacting in the kingdom is not about reaction. It's about ruling. Are you a ruler or
25:22are you a reactor? Can you rule or do you just react? This is very important to where God is
25:31calling
25:31to you to what God has plans for you, the things that he has for you to do. A lot
25:36of this has everything
25:38to do with how you are walking in your rulership. All right. And so kingdom citizens are trained
25:49how to maintain dignity through situations of pressure. Say, well, I don't know that I'm
25:55trained. You absolutely are trained, but if you don't respond to the training, then you'll continue
26:02in your own way. You say, well, what is the train? The Holy spirit. He's right there. You know, he's
26:07there saying, okay, just be quiet, be cool. You don't have to do, and you just, you know, ignore him
26:13as though he's not present. And again, I say what Corinthians says, know ye not that you are the
26:20temple of God, the most high. Have you forgotten the presence of the Holy spirit? Who's right there
26:29to bring you to the highest level of functioning. We got to pay better attention. People of God,
26:36we don't, we don't respond, you know, under that kind of pressure and situations of, you know,
26:43of outbursts. The problem is that believers still think that instead of kingdom, they got this
26:52religious mindset and, and religion has compromised in just about every area of teaching, always a
27:02compromise. Well, the Lord knows my heart. You better believe he does. And he understands what
27:08it costs Jesus Christ for you to do better than that. And to keep using those kinds of, you know,
27:13situations and excuses that's holding you from coming into the plan that God has always has his
27:20original intent, his original precept. Remember the original plan of God? Yeah. We'll continue to
27:26rehearse that and so we can understand how important it is and how important you are to God. Okay. So
27:36we
27:36understand then that, that, you know, a religion is a set of rituals to, that you perform to impress
27:49some deity because it's not about God. Religion has never been, God has never been about
27:56a religion. Okay. Or, or, you know, all this competing with other people, you know, religion
28:03is performance. It's about mood. It's, it's a tradition. It's what you feel or don't feel. Well,
28:10I didn't feel like that today. So that's why I didn't. You know, religion compromises every standard
28:18that the kingdom has laid down throughout the scriptures and we will explore that. So the kingdom
28:23is government and government does not run on feelings. As we just came out of rules or laws,
28:31it runs by laws. Government is regulated by, by, by the kingdom statutes and principles. Okay. The
28:41constitution, our Bible, your Bible, that is your constitution and policy. Okay. Not your feelings
28:50or your moods. Okay. And think of it, this gravity does not stop working because someone
28:56is, is offended or hurt. Okay. It's a law. You don't drive on the wrong side of the road because
29:10you
29:10don't feel like driving on the right side today. That's a law and laws protect. Okay. And so laws are
29:18not
29:19about feelings and mood swings as an emotions. Okay. Because the truth of the matter is you
29:27understand the consequences of driving on the right side of the road. You understand the consequences
29:32of gravity. So the laws of government is not about feelings or moods. The kingdom of God is government.
29:40Therefore, your fleshly reactions must come under kingdom law and rule. This is so important because
29:50if you are going to function at the highest level, then you cannot allow yourself to ignore the very
29:57presence of law, which is the Holy spirit in you. The kingdom is in you. Isn't that what Jesus said?
30:04So as a kingdom citizen, you make, you know, executive decisions. You got to start seeing yourself at a
30:12higher position. Religion got us just whatever, you know, come what may and all this slack and slowful
30:19stuff. Whereas a kingdom says, you're an executive. You have executive decisions to make concerning
30:27the kingdom. So it's not, you know, just what you feel like it's based on principles, not impulse.
30:37You, you seek first the kingdom and his righteousness, his right way of doing things and how he has set
30:45up
30:45in order. So then understand this. Yes, you love God, but your inner needs order because God is
30:57about order. Okay. You're joyful today and tomorrow you're depressed. You know, you're good today. And
31:04now you're upset a few minutes later, uh, this up and down emotional, whatever, you know, that's not who
31:12you are. Not once the Holy spirit, you know, the truth of the matter is you can know who's really
31:20under the unction of the Holy spirit and who's not. It's very simple because he does not act out.
31:27And so when we are not walking in the fullness of the very presence of God almighty through the Holy
31:33spirit, we're walking in ourselves and it shows, and it does not represent. So this is lawlessness.
31:42Okay. And submission it's submission to the wrong energy. You're, you're like a kingdom divided against
31:51itself as, as, as Luke chapter 11 and 17, when, when Jesus was, you know, casting out the devil and
31:58they said, well, you cast out the devil from Beelzebub. He says, well, if the devil casts out
32:03the devil, you know, his kingdom cannot stand. This is very important for us to understand it on all
32:09levels. You know, it's one of the reasons why this whole religious world is just a big clash.
32:15First of all, religion is of the devil. And so even you trying to win somebody from another religion
32:20and you're still religious yourself, that's religion. The devil don't cast out the devil
32:25because his kingdom will, you know, that's a kingdom divided. And you're saying that you're
32:30one thing and doing another, you're divided. This makes no sense. People of God, we got to start
32:35getting real in terms of what it is. We believe your spirit wants peace. Okay. But your flesh wants war,
32:42your, your mood swings, they fight for control, you know, while your, your attitude is on fire,
32:51you're a kingdom divided. You, you're not, you know, you're not submissive to the Holy Spirit
32:59because he would not allow this up and down and out and impulsive type of behavior. No government can
33:06survive without order. You're, you know, no believer can represent a king while living
33:16like an ungoverned territory. You know, I think of different countries that even when they are
33:23traveling to the Middle East, there were certain countries that they said, you don't want to go
33:26through there, even though they were very historical, a lot of archaeological digs and finds
33:32there concerning, you know, concerning the Bible and so on. But they were lawless. That's what they
33:37would, they call those, those are lawless towns or lawless places. And I said, no, I don't want to go
33:43there because something goes wrong. There's no law to protect you. So this is very serious when we start
33:48talking, you know, when, when the scripture, Isaiah picked it up and he said, you know, behold, pay attention,
33:54listen, you know, a child is born, a son is given and the government, not a religion. The government
34:01shall be upon his shoulder. All right. Meaning that this is the word of God that's coming forth,
34:07not a religion. So again, pause, breathe, take a breath and then speak. You're not a slave to whatever
34:17triggers you, but you're a citizen under a king and his kingdom. That's who you are. So when something
34:24comes to trigger you, you don't submit to it, you pause, breathe, take a breath and then speak.
34:35This is nothing to do with religion. It's about a government citizen, someone who's representing
34:42the kingdom of God. Psalms 103, Psalms 103 and 19. The Lord has prepared his throne in the heavens
34:55and his kingdom rules over all. That is so powerful because we are representative of that kingdom.
35:06So the enemy, of course, you see the enemy for what he is. If you cannot identify a threat,
35:15then you're going to keep negotiating with it. And this is going to keep happening over and over again.
35:22You'll keep excusing the behavior. Well, I was upset or they shouldn't have said that to me, or they know
35:29how I am. Those are the enemy loves for you to do that because then you never step into the
35:34higher realm
35:35and the higher levels of who you really are. We're on a journey, people of God. You haven't seen the
35:41best of who you are yet. Are you serious? You haven't seen the awesomeness of that woman of God, that
35:48man
35:48of God, that person that God has been developing since you entered this earthly realm. So the enemy, he will
35:55continue to use people to emotionally hijack you. That's right. I call it emotional hijacking. You know, he uses
36:03anger and fear and pride and shame to catch you off guard. And this emotional hijacking is when
36:12something outside of you gets permission by you to dictate and control because you're giving it
36:21permission when you react and that your reaction becomes their reward and the devils are being fed
36:29and they are well taken care of when you do exactly what they want. You know, when someone can dictate
36:37what comes out of you, think about that, people of God. Think. Think, who is that that has that kind
36:43of
36:43power, that has that kind of authority over you, that they can, you know, do things that cause you to
36:50go
36:51against the very spirit of the living God that's inside of you. Who is that? Because you got to check
36:57that
36:58and you got to check that right now. The tragedy is that some think this is normal, that it's okay.
37:05You know, I'm just having a moment. I'm like, you are not representing what it is you've been called
37:14for. You know, in certain countries, these are what they call lawless nations. This is how, what happens
37:22when a coup takes over. You know, a coup de car, they have different names for it, but a coup
37:26is a hostile takeover of government. Okay. It's an illegal seizure of authority and it rebels against
37:36the rightful ruler. Are you listening to me? Because that's exactly what a hostile, a literal,
37:44you know, emotional hijacking is. It's a spiritual coup and it comes and it's, it's a hostile takeover
37:52of your governing, okay, abilities and power. It illegally seizes your authority and rebellion
38:00against it. It's literally of the devil. So when emotions take the throne in your mind, you are no
38:07longer being governed by kingdom principles. The Holy spirit, he is not your ruler and, and teaching
38:16and show you're not heeding his training. Okay. Uh, you know, but, but you're being ruled by a temporary
38:23evil dictator and, and, and it's called impulse and outburst and anger and just the way I am a lot
38:35of
38:35things of which again, excuses the behavior rather than checking it. Most damage is not caused by what
38:46happened, but by who took the throne in your mind in that moment, because in most cases, it's not even
38:53that big of a deal. What took place, we make it, you know, whatever it becomes, we make it. All
39:01right.
39:01And so then the, the event, uh, or the spark, you know, the ruler is the fire and, and you
39:11can rule
39:12or you can react. It's simple as that. The authority is in your court. God gave it to you. This
39:18is why,
39:19you know, two people can go through the same thing and have completely different outcomes. One person
39:27is on the government rule while the other is under siege.
39:32Rory to God. So emotional hijack is like a spiritual coup, causing decisions to be extreme
39:42and destructive while the policies become irrational and speaking harmful decrees,
39:50words that you can't take back. You know, you, you, you punish people for one moment
39:58because you lost your rule and, and the constitution of the kingdom inside of you
40:04is ignored and overlooked. Proverbs 29 and 11, Proverbs 29. This is all preparation for something
40:13is coming. Okay. You say, pastor, why are you going? Something is coming. You need to be prepared.
40:18You need to be ready and able to respond rather than react. Proverbs says, a fool utters all his mind,
40:26but a wise person keeps it in until afterwards. I want to say that the afterwards is after you pause,
40:39breathe, and then your government speaks. You take the kingdom pause.
40:48And you absolutely stay in total authority of any and every situation. We know there are common
40:58triggers. There, everybody got these triggers. I get that. Okay. I'm not ignoring that. I'm not being
41:04insensitive. Okay. But because a coup always comes through a gate, you know, the hostile,
41:12it'll come through a gate of disrespect. It'll come through the gate, you know, of dishonor,
41:19of lies, of accusations that it comes in. Okay. Sometimes even expectations of certain people
41:27just totally throws you off, you know, betrayals, of course, betrayals, I call them turncoats.
41:33That's just what it is, you know, and some people can't even deal with corrections because
41:39corrections stirs up people's pride, you know, or embarrassment or, you know, financial pressure.
41:47There are many triggers that cause us to, you know, go into something that we are not controlling as
41:55we should. So understand this pressure does not create what's in you. You say, well, that's what,
42:01you know, that's what did it to me. No, no, no. Pressure does not create what's in you. It reveals
42:08who's governing you, who's in control of you, who can do that to you, who has that kind of power
42:15to
42:16override your authority. There are a coup, there are emotional hijacking you and you're giving it
42:22permission. And it's time for you to check this once and for all and bring it to a halt so
42:28that you'll
42:29be prepared for the things which are to come. Matthew chapter 12 and verse 34, Matthew chapter 12
42:35and verse 34 says, for out of the abundance of the heart or the mind, as we taught you that,
42:43the mouth speaks. So a kingdom pause says, okay, I'm going to stay in control. You're not going to use
42:51that to get the jump on me. Not so. See, the mouth is not the problem because it's the microphone
42:59of the
43:00ruler. The damage or the danger is that one reaction can cost you what took years to build.
43:09And I've seen that happen. And it's like, you can't take it back. So one sentence
43:20and, and this is so important. You know, you, you can't retrieve it. You can't take it back.
43:25You know, one, one bad text. You know, I experienced that years ago. It was something I had no clue.
43:32I
43:32had no idea. I should have been more attentive, should have paid more attention, but these things
43:37happen and they can do damage people of God. And I'm saying when you are, you know, striving to do
43:44what
43:44you can be, which is supposed to be, you know, you need to check this and be aware of it.
43:49So it
43:49doesn't, you know, do these kinds of things. I'm really talking mostly from experience.
43:54And I believe that, you know, to say, well, you learn from your own experience. Well,
43:58wise people learn from someone else's experience. So, so, you know, you realize then that
44:05certain texts, once they're sent, you can't, you can't unsend them. An outburst, you can't cancel.
44:11It can cancel your credibility, but you can't cancel it. You know, impulsive decision can
44:16destroy your peace. And everyone else is around you who were looking up to you, who have thought
44:21that, you know, this is very important. James chapter three and verse six. Again, you know,
44:29James really deals with the tongue. It's, it's crucial. He says, the tongue is a fire, a world of
44:37iniquity. So is the tongue. Okay. Among our members that it defiles the whole body and sets on
44:49fire, the course of nature. This is, this is amazing. And it is set on fire. It goes on, it
44:58says,
44:58it is set on fire of hell because that's where it's coming from people. God, that's where it's coming
45:05from. And the more, you know, that the less you'll be able to give into it because you'll be very
45:12much
45:12aware of it. So when your throne is hijacked, hell doesn't need to attack you. It doesn't have to
45:19do anything from the outside. It just rules from the inside. And when it gets you, it's got you. And
45:26you need to pay attention because this is really, I think this right now is preventive medicine for
45:32somebody. It is preventive medicine for somebody. Pause, breathe, take a breath and then speak.
45:41Okay. This is what I call a lawful resistance. The actual border patrol, glory to God, the kingdom pause.
45:54That means you are immediately in control. You are ready to declare and decree what goes down in that
46:01moment. And heaven is watching. Don't think for one minute, heaven is not paying attention to what
46:07is going on with you. If you want to learn your authority, let's watch Jesus and let's study how
46:15his restraint in the midst of, you know, the scripture literally say how they would try and trick him and
46:21try and trap him and try and do things to him. Look at how cool and calm he remained. Okay.
46:28Because
46:28authority is not loud. It's mastery. Authority is power under control. See, each time the religious
46:39rulers tried to debate Jesus or to trap him, he didn't take the bait. He didn't panic or perform or
46:47explain himself. He was secure enough to not feel he needed to, you know, explain himself to anybody.
46:59Jesus was not insecure. Okay. Matthew 22 and 18 says, but Jesus perceived their wickedness.
47:10You know, some folk, you know, you can sense it. You know, you have the power to discern and some
47:17things you really can. And, and, you know, that is something I don't think we use a lot because
47:22it's like the Holy Spirit is saying, okay, you know, it's getting ready to come. It's getting ready to go
47:26down. I mean, would you stop and start paying attention? Because that's what he's there for.
47:32And it's like, you, you know, some folk now, like I said, this ain't even about no trust. When you
47:38know
47:38something, you just know it. Okay. So his authority was calm. It was calm enough to think clear enough
47:47to see their motives. Okay. I mean, they didn't have that kind of power and hold over him. Okay.
47:55He was bold enough to legislate truth without being emotional. That's who you are as he is. So are we
48:03in the earth? You have to know that you have the power and the authority to legislate truth within that
48:11moment and not allow emotions to take over. There were times Jesus authority was revealed even in
48:18silence. I told you silence is one of the most powerful laws, understanding you don't have to
48:24answer every accusation. There are some questions that deserve no response. You need to ignore them.
48:32You stay in your position of authority and don't allow, don't take the bait. Why? Because the spirit
48:39behind them is illegal. When Jesus was falsely accused, he answered them not like, you know, just
48:48don't even waste time that the governing, his government, he, they marveled at him. Okay. And Matthew
48:5527 and 14 said, they all marveled at him that he said nothing. You know, let people be shocked
49:03sometimes because you didn't say anything. They thought for sure they had you that time. And I
49:09have been in positions like that. Oh my Lord. And it was difficult. But when I saw the power of
49:17being
49:17silent and not being drawn into what I know was evil and illegal, that's when it takes on and you
49:26start
49:26seeing it for, for what it is. Jesus was never powerless. You know, on the contrary, he was full
49:33of power, but he was also self governed. He was intentional with who we are. Be intentional with
49:41who you are. You are powerful and you are on assignment. Be intentional. You know, silence is not
49:48surrender. When you're under government, sometimes silence is the highest form of dimension, authority,
49:55and power. That dominion flows through your silence. Sometimes silence will shut the mouth
50:02of the enemy and cause him to flee. There is a false idea that a spirit of religion
50:10has taught believers. And that's, what's coming up. We'll get into that. My time is up. I can't believe
50:15how quick the time is gone, but it is. We'll get into what is the false idea that, that the,
50:21you know,
50:21the spirit of religion has taught believers, blood bought believers, those whom God has called,
50:28you know, we will continue in this study. It's so necessary. I mean, sometimes you can just sense
50:35some things that are down the pike that, you know, are coming and God will send a word, a message
50:41in its simplicity. It's not something deep and it's not anything that you're not aware of. You're very
50:46much aware of it. You sense it in your spirit as well. And so then here, here comes a word
50:52that
50:52begins to prepare you and position you so that you will come out shining as pure goal, successful in
51:01all that God has called you to do. Spirit of living God, we just thank you right now for the
51:06word of God.
51:07We thank you for the power to pause, to breathe, and then speak. We thank you for the authority,
51:16for the representation of the kingdom of God rest within us for that is where it is. And we will
51:23manifest it some 30, some 60, some 100 full. We thank you for entrusting it to us. And we praise
51:31you,
51:32O God, in advance for total victories that are coming forth after this in Jesus' mighty name.
51:39We thank you for it. We call it done. And it is so. God bless you. I look forward to
