00:02I'm going to do some celebrity impressions.
00:04This is a celebrity walk-a-thon.
00:07Welcome to Ms. Mojo, and today we're counting down our picks
00:09for the most entertaining celebrity parodies by Jimmy Fallon.
00:13Well, that's done and dusted, isn't it?
00:16By the way, you look great.
00:18No, no, we look great.
00:21Number 10, Billy Joe Armstrong.
00:24Another show is gone, cause last is over too.
00:27If you've ever had a rebellious phase where all you listened to was Green Day,
00:32you probably know the band's frontman's mannerisms like the back of your hand.
00:37From the defiant punk energy coursing through his veins to the messy hair,
00:41the sharp head nods, and the wide-legged stance,
00:43Billy Joe Armstrong has a presence like no other.
00:52Jimmy Fallon ticked all of those boxes when he impersonated the singer
00:56during his lost tribute at the 62nd Primetime Emmy Awards.
01:00Additionally, by copying one of Billy's most iconic looks,
01:04the black shirt with the red tie,
01:06Fallon made the impression instantly recognizable.
01:19It's always entertaining to watch Jimmy Fallon and Jack Black together.
01:23In a 2015 episode of The Tonight Show,
01:26the stars teamed up to recreate the music video of More Than Words by Xtreme.
01:30The result was unironically a great cover of the original song.
01:39Black played Gary Cherone, contributing solid vocals,
01:43while Fallon was on the acoustic guitar as Nuno Betancourt.
01:46The latter delivered some impressive harmonies, too.
01:49More than words is all you have to do.
01:56As for the physical impression, Jimmy kept things subtle.
01:59Purse lips, intense focus, and emotional delivery.
02:03With the luscious wig he was wearing,
02:05he had to put in a bit of haerography, too.
02:08Needless to say, fans loved it.
02:10Cause I don't really know
02:18Number 8. Jim Morrison
02:21The Doors frontman has an inimitable essence that cannot possibly be copied.
02:26However, his striking uniqueness makes him a perfect subject for impressionists.
02:31Jimmy Fallon parodied the legendary singer on Late Night, but with a twist.
02:36His Jim was singing the Reading Rainbow theme song.
02:39Butterfly in the sky
02:43I can go twice as high
02:46Fallon immerses himself in his character from the get-go,
02:49evoking the star's mystical magnetism.
02:52Not only does he get the look right,
02:54with the leather jacket and the wavy hairpiece,
02:56but he also nails the Lizard King's baritone and trance-like movements.
03:01Good night air
03:02Good night noises everywhere
03:09His parody is reminiscent of The Doors performing Light My Fire on The Ed Sullivan Show in 1967,
03:15which means Jimmy doesn't end his act without an unpredictable scream or two.
03:20It's about time he brought this impression back.
03:34Number 7. Neil Young
03:36Jimmy's impression of The Heart of Gold singer is one of his most accurate.
03:40However, in true Fallon style, he doesn't just do a simple parody.
03:45Instead, he makes his version of Neil Young sing the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air theme song.
03:50I'll tell you how I became the prince of a town called Bel-Air
03:55The idea came from one of his writers, and he brought it to life on Late Night, earning big laughs.
04:01He mimics Neil's high tenor voice with perfection,
04:04And in that voice, even Will Smith's sitcom-suited lyrics sound deep and emotional.
04:09If anything I could say, this cab was rare
04:12And I thought, nah, forget it
04:16Keep in mind, Jimmy also plays the harmonica and the guitar in the act.
04:21The man's got both talent and dedication.
04:23To sit on my throne as the prince
04:26The prince of Bel-Air
04:31Number 6. Bob Dylan
04:41Jimmy Fallon's impression of the Nobel Prize winning artist has long been a fan favorite.
04:47In 2018, he reached for it to make a political statement.
04:50In a show following the Super Bowl, he walked on stage in full Bob Dylan gear,
04:55Equipped with a guitar and a harmonica again.
04:58Come gather round people wherever you're on
05:02And admit that our country don't feel like a home
05:06His voice was reedy, yet full of conviction as he sang
05:10The times they are a-changin', just like the original singer.
05:13However, it was Jimmy's lyrics that truly won hearts,
05:17As his rendition addressed issues like
05:19Hashtag Me Too and Colin Kaepernick Taking the Knee.
05:22This parody was true to the spirit of Dylan's anthem,
05:26Earning the Saturday Night Live alum both respect and laughter.
05:29For you have the power, but we have the vote
05:33The times they are a-changin'
05:38Number 5. Robin Williams
05:39Jimmy Fallon brought his impression of the Mrs. Doubtfire star to SNL in the year 2000.
05:45Robin Williams has set a Jeopardy record by buzzing in 2,000 times and never answering a question.
05:52Yes, thank you. Yes, Jeopardy. Yes.
05:54I hear you, my boy. You are healed.
05:56We have found Tom Selleck's mustache. Yes.
05:58Suddenly we go over here and look at the scoreboard. What do you have here?
06:00Oh, Vanna White. Can we turn the letters? She's making a vowel movement. Yes.
06:03The costume department had given him the perfect Robin Williams getup for a celebrity Jeopardy sketch,
06:08And he breathed life into his character with ease.
06:11From the warmth in Robin's voice to his characteristic rapid-fire delivery and unstoppable energy,
06:18Fallon flawlessly channeled the icon.
06:20Mr. Williams.
06:21Oh, it's a beautiful thing, yes. Right now there's a guy at home going,
06:23What the hell is going on there?
06:25Thank you. Thank you.
06:27Tragically, the world lost to the Oscar-winning Good Will Hunting actor in 2014.
06:32Following his untimely passing, Jimmy paid tribute to the beloved legend on The Tonight Show,
06:37trying hard to hold back tears.
06:39As he waxed lyrical about Williams, he couldn't help but slip into an impression of him,
06:45which the audience applauded with somber awe.
06:47There's a kid going,
06:48That's not the way! Yes.
06:49Then he's like,
06:49Martha Graham, Martha Graham, and ball and chain, and kick, and ball, and you're like,
06:51Yes, thank you.
06:57And you'd watch him, and you'd watch him, and you would cry laughing, and you would think,
07:03I'm never going to see anyone like this human ever.
07:064. Mick Jagger
07:08A spot-on impression is always fun, but it gets even more entertaining when it's done in front of the
07:14real person.
07:15Come on, Mick, come on, you can do this, right?
07:19That's not the point.
07:20I mean, I've done this, that's the problem, I've done it.
07:23When Mick Jagger hosted SNL in 2001, he appeared in a sketch where Jimmy Fallon played his mirror image.
07:30Dressed exactly alike, the two brought the house down with their comic timing and chemistry.
07:35Jimmy's exaggerated English accent, squinting eyes, and overly expressive mouth all added up to a
07:42fantastic impression. Even the rock star himself cracked up a few times.
07:47What you got there?
07:48T, Y, what, Sam?
07:49Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
07:50There you go.
07:52Oh, right, hey, you know, I've got a great idea.
07:54Yeah, go on.
07:54Hey, why don't you go out and do the rooster?
07:56I don't know if I'm not sick.
07:57Do the rooster, don't know if I'm not sick.
07:59That's great.
08:00Do you like it?
08:03That's good, man.
08:04Yeah, yeah, that's good.
08:05Fallon later revealed on The Tonight Show that SNL creator Lorne Michaels didn't initially love the
08:11idea of the skit, but Jagger was instantly sold on it. Years later, it continues to be one of the
08:17funniest acts we've seen on the comedy show.
08:20Pointing, pointing, pointing, pointing at you!
08:283. Barry Gibb
08:40When it comes to Jimmy's musical impressions, this one is unbeatable. His Barry Gibb is so
08:46popular that he has played the Bee Gees member multiple times on SNL as part of the Barry Gibb
08:51talk show sketch series. The Stayin' Alive singer even appeared on one of these skits and gave his
08:57impersonator his stamp of approval. Though Fallon admitted that his hot-headed
09:10over-the-top SNL impression is not based on Gibb's real personality, it is still amusing to watch.
09:16The Emmy winner nails the British singer's unmistakable accent and world-renowned falsetto.
09:22As a bonus, Jimmy is joined by Justin Timberlake in these sketches,
09:25who does a hilariously convincing Robin Gibb. We can never get tired of these two together.
09:32I wasn't born on the Isle of Boy, I was born on the Isle of Man.
09:36Isle of Man, yes I am, and I will have to kick your ass. I'm Barry Anthony Gibb!
09:442. Jerry Seinfeld
09:46The award-winning artist has been parodied by his fellow comedians for years. Jim Carrey, Gilbert Gottfried,
09:52and even Kevin Hart have their own versions of the Seinfeld creator. However, it was Jimmy Fallon
09:58who got to bring his impression of the star to SNL, and even mimicked him to his face for a
10:03sketch.
10:03We're gonna dress you up in a vest! We're gonna dress you up in a vest! We're gonna dress you
10:08up in a vest!
10:12You're funny. So are you. So are you.
10:15The first time he imitated the sign language author was in 1998 for a skit called Tarmac Talk.
10:21The second time was when Jerry was hosting in 1999 and joined Jimmy for Weekend Update.
10:26Have you seen these drawstring pants? Where am I going in these things? A clam bake? Slumber party?
10:33Should I volunteer at a hospital? Jerry, what are you talking about? I love the Gap!
10:39It's like going into your closet, except there's a guy in there. Hey, buddy, pocket T? Really?
10:45Thanks, Gap! What, you refolded? This place is great!
10:48The latter was an instant hit, even though Fallon kept breaking into a grin. He pulled off
10:53Seinfeld's signature cadence and commendably mirrored his mannerisms. Watching them play
10:58off each other was a true delight. But he makes a good point. I like what this guy has to
11:03say.
11:05I know, you're me! I know you're not, I'm you! I know, I'm kidding! I know you're kidding!
11:10I know you're kidding about me, kidding, I'm kidding! Wanna go see a movie? Yeah! Let's go!

11:32Number 1. Adam Sandler
11:43Jimmy Fallon owes the start of his comedy career in a way to the Happy Gilmore star. One of the
11:49first
11:49impressions he ever did publicly was that of Adam Sandler. It was for a contest where he also
11:55impersonated Jerry Seinfeld and John Travolta, winning first place. He later parodied both
12:01Jerry and Adam during his SNL audition, but it was his take on the uncut Gems actor that got a
12:07laugh
12:07out of Lorne Michaels. He ended up on the show soon after, and his career took off. Fallon has since
12:26blessed fans with his Sandler impression on several occasions, delivering the perfect mix of awkward
12:31rambling and frenzied screaming, all while perfectly imitating his husky voice. It gets us every time.
12:38Well, there's three levels. First, you do this level where you're like,
12:42you know, my mother, you know, she lives in an apartment building and he goes,
12:48yeah, he goes, and then the second level is the,
12:53he goes, that's right. And the third one is like, shut up!
12:56Which Jimmy Fallon impression is your favorite? Tell us in the comments!
