00:05Welcome to the World of Warcraft Feature Preview for the new WoW Token System coming in Patch 6.1.2.
00:12In this video, I'll explain what WoW Tokens are and how you can exchange them with other players for either
00:18Gold or Game Time.
00:21The WoW Token is a new in-game item that allows players to simply and securely exchange Gold and Game
00:28Time between each other.
00:30They can be purchased for real money from the in-game store, and traded to other players for Gold through
00:35a special section of the Auction House.
00:37Once it's been sold, it becomes soulbound, and the player who purchased it can redeem it for Game Time.
00:44To purchase a token to sell for Gold, you'll need to log into World of Warcraft and then find the
00:49WoW Token on the in-game store.
00:51Once you've purchased it, it'll appear in your inventory.
00:54Head to the nearest Auction House, select the Auctions tab at the bottom, and drag the WoW Token from your
01:00inventory to the Auction House.
01:02The Auction House interface will automatically switch into one specialized for selling WoW Tokens.
01:08You'll see the amount of Gold you'll get for selling it, as well as an estimation of how long it'll
01:13take to sell.
01:14Once you've confirmed that you'd like to put your WoW Token up for sale, that amount of Gold is guaranteed,
01:20regardless of the amount it actually sells for later.
01:23As soon as it does, you'll receive your Gold in the mail.
01:27If you'd like to buy a token with Gold to use for Game Time, you'll need to go to the
01:31Browse tab on the Auction House, and click on Game Time at the bottom of the list.
01:36You'll see the current market price for WoW Tokens listed there, and the option to buy one.
01:41Once purchased, you just need to collect it from your mailbox and use the item from your inventory to add
01:4730 days of Game Time to your account.
01:50If your account is currently inactive, you'll have the option to purchase a WoW Token for Game Time, directly from
01:56the Character Select screen.
01:59The WoW Token is an easy and secure option for players who'd like to purchase some extra Gold from other
02:04players, or use their extra Gold to pay for their WoW subscription.
