00:33MOVA stands for Multi-User Online Battle Arena.
00:37For Dawngate, what we've done has broken down the genre to its component parts,
00:41and built a new game that doesn't just clone the classic MOVA,
00:44but builds on it by focusing on a flexible metagame.
00:48But the metagame in Dawngate is based around your particular team composition,
00:51the roles your team is choosing.
00:53So the game is going to play different every single time,
00:55allows you and your team to genuinely try new strategies.
00:58It allows them to basically play any of these characters that they really identify with
01:03in any position in the game.
01:04When we set out to make Dawngate,
01:06really what we wanted was characters who were fighting for a purpose.
01:10All of the characters that you play,
01:11the map that you're playing on,
01:13has been conceived of in a massive epic story arc
01:17that's really just kicking off with the players.
01:20Salus, he's a character who I love to play.
01:23He's sort of a lizard monk, very zen.
01:25There is a little spirit wisp dude.
01:29I love the design of that guy.
01:30Big guys with axes and armor and skulls.
01:31I like that a lot.
01:32So I like supports. 100% the best.
01:34I like making supports and playing supports the best.
01:36I really like that we have a whole section of the world
01:39that's devoted to badass bookish nerds.

01:46we're probably not going to have a good time hanging up.
01:51We built this team specifically to make this game,
01:53to make Dawngate.
01:56We're a group of hardcore MOBA players,
01:58so we knew if we were going to make something awesome for our players,
