00:11Today we're taking a look at Freedom Wars,
00:13which is coming later this year to PlayStation Vita.
00:15This is a collaboration between Japan Studio, Shift and Dimps.
00:19Let's take a look.
00:23In Freedom Wars, you're playing as a prisoner working to reduce a 1 million year sentence.
00:27I know that sounds like a lot.

00:41So we're headed to rescue some civilians
00:44from these enemy forces we've got here.
00:46I'm playing with my friends Jake, Ken, and Kumi.
00:48But if you don't have three friends handy
00:50you can actually mix and match between
00:52human companions and AI companions.
00:55Ok, I'm taking a civilian to the exit. Cover me guys.
00:59Got a couple enemies here. We're going to try and run right past them.
01:01Get him, Kumi.
01:03Almost there.
01:05Got it.
01:07Ok, civilian number two rescued.
01:11Alright, so when you see this red reticle appear
01:13when you're locked onto an enemy
01:14that means you can grapple up to it
01:15and then hit triangle to start chopping away at it.
01:19You can actually take its different appendages off.
01:22If I hit L I can lock onto enemies.
01:26One feature that I really enjoyed about Freedom Wars
01:29is the grappling mechanic.
01:30Being able to press R and then kind of grapple anywhere
01:32in the arena or straight up to an enemy
01:34and hack off one of their arms.
01:36I'm a sucker for any cool grappling mechanics.
01:45So that's Freedom Wars. This game is a lot of fun.
01:48Really crazy. I love the co-op madness going on here.
01:51It's really cool being able to see everybody running around
01:54and cooperating to take out these monsters
01:56all at the same time here.
01:58Freedom Wars is coming later this year to PlayStation Vita.
