00:47First, invite your friend into a party from the PS4 home screen.
00:52Load up the game you want to play, press the share button and select shareplay.
00:57Then choose which of your online friends to invite to share your game.
01:02Once they've accepted your invitation, your PS4 systems will be linked and your 60-minute
01:07shareplay session will start.
01:09Your friend can now see your screen, watch you play your game and give you helpful tips
01:14if they have a microphone connected.
01:17To share your screen, neither of you will need to be PlayStation Plus members.
01:22Stuck on a tricky level or want to let your friend try out your new game?
01:26To let your friend play for you, press the share button, select go to party for shareplay,
01:32choose give controller to visitor, then allow the visitor to play as you.
01:39You'll need to be a PlayStation Plus member to hand over control, but the friend you've
01:43invited doesn't.
01:46Your friend can now play your game, while you watch them in action.
01:50To take back control, press the share button and choose take back controller.
01:55You can pass control back and forth as often as you like, just like being in the same room.
02:01Want to take on a friend in your game's local multiplayer mode?
02:05To play together in a co-op adventure or go head to head in a multiplayer match, press the
02:10share button, select give controller to visitor from the shareplay menu, then choose play a
02:16game together to make your friend player too.
02:19Now you'll be able to either team up or settle your rivalries in the game.
02:23To play together, both you and your friend will need to be PlayStation Plus members.
02:28Remember, if you're the host, only you need a copy of the game.
02:32And you can invite your friends to as many 60 minute shareplay sessions as you like.
02:38When you're finished, you can end the shareplay session whenever you choose, or start a new
02:42session from where you left off.
02:45And if your friend liked what they played, they'll have the choice to purchase their own
02:49copy of the game from PlayStation Store.
