00:13Today I'm going to talk to you about Stealth Inc. 2, a game of clones,
00:18our new stealth puzzle platform game,
00:21which arrives on all formats from April 7.
00:24The biggest and most obvious difference about this stand-alone sequel
00:28is that it's a metroidvania game, it's a huge exploratory world.
00:33As you explore and uncover new areas of this exploratory world,
00:37you'll advance the game's story.
00:40So Stealth Inc. 2 takes place in PTI Resolutions,
00:44a massive toy testing facility,
00:46but the way that PTI goes about testing these toys is incredibly dangerous,
00:52so they have to create these clones, these expendable clones,
00:55to carry out the tests.
00:58So the game sees you begin as one of these clones,
01:01born into this enormous testing facility.
01:04Towards the beginning of the game,
01:05we see you escape from these test chambers,
01:08and you break out into the larger testing facility.
01:11So this is a large seamless exploratory world,
01:15which is full of all new areas which we haven't seen before.
01:18And these new areas come with all new security systems,
01:21so you've got cameras and alarm dogs and lasers and crushing walls.
01:27So the testing facility becomes the backdrop for our stealth and platform gameplay.
01:33So not only do we have this large exploratory world to discover,
01:37you also have the test chamber gameplay from Stealth Inc. 1.
01:42This time around, the test chamber entrances are hidden around the entire facility,
01:47and you have to go out and find them yourself.
01:50When you enter these test chambers,
01:52you'll find that there are fellow clones trapped inside,
01:55and you can help these clones escape into the exploratory world,
02:00by helping them get to the exit of the test chamber.
02:04As you progress further through the exploratory world,
02:06you'll find and unlock these gadgets.
02:09And these gadgets give the player powerful new abilities,
02:12to not only progress further through the game,
02:14but also to go back and revisit areas that they didn't fully explore before.
02:21The exploratory world of PTI is split into six areas,
02:25each dedicated to testing a specific toy.
02:28So the beginning of the game sees you testing the stealth goggles.
02:31Now this is the basic stealth mechanic carried over from the previous game.
02:35If you stand in the light, your goggles go red and you can be seen.
02:38If you stand in the dark, your goggles go green and no one can see you, you're invisible.
02:43So this is obviously pretty useful throughout the whole game.
02:47But once we move out of area one,
02:49we start discovering the tests that are testing other toys.
02:52And the first one we want to talk about is the inflater mate.
02:56So the inflater mate is a furry inflatable friend.
03:01Many of the toys you discover in the game control in the same way.
03:04So with this, you can aim with the analog stick,
03:06you can throw with the right trigger,
03:08you can retrieve it with the right trigger as well,
03:10and then you use the left trigger to activate it.
03:13So with this one, you can throw it around and then inflate it.
03:16And this has more uses than you'd imagine.
03:20I can create shadows now by blocking lights.
03:22I can climb up to areas that I couldn't reach before because of the added height.
03:27I can throw this on top of an enemy and kill it.
03:31So I'm really turning the tables on the enemies of PTI now.
03:35But these are just some of the more primitive uses.
03:38I can use this as a springboard now to jump really high.
03:42If I call my inflater mate back to me in mid-air,
03:45I can then activate it again.
03:47So I can effectively fly around now.
03:50So once I complete all the test chambers that focus on the inflater mate,
03:54I actually unlock this gadget and I can take it out into the exploratory world.
03:58And then by using this gadget, you'll be able to explore and discover the next area.
04:04Where you'll find a whole new set of test chambers dedicated to testing a new toy.
04:10So this is a really cool tiered learning process
04:13where you're learning about the gadgets in the test chambers
04:16and then you're going out into the exploratory world
04:18and using those skills and that gadget to advance to the next area.
04:24So now we're entering the third area of the game, which is the robot factory.
04:28And here you'll find a whole new set of chambers which will be testing the jack boy.
04:33The jack boy allows you to do stealth attacks on enemies.
04:37So you can sneak up behind a robot and then jack it and you'll take it over.
04:41So you now have complete control of this enemy and all of its abilities.
04:45So now I have two characters to control on screen and the robot has obviously completely different abilities to my
04:53clone player.
04:54So this toy brings a whole new dimension to these test chambers
04:57and it also gives you a very powerful ability to deal with enemies which you didn't have before.
05:04One of my favourite things about working on this game is that all the game objects interact with each other.
05:09So creating a puzzle or creating a level or an environment with things for the player to discover is really
05:15easy to do.
05:16So when you get these gadgets it gives you the opportunity to go out and nest with those mechanics and
05:22experiment
05:22and see how to use the game objects and the world to your advantage.
05:27So if you get bored of exploring the world or completing test chambers or rescuing clones or unlocking gadgets
05:34you can also make your own test chambers with the level editor.
05:38And then you can share your levels online with other people and you can all download and rate each other's
05:43levels.
