00:13In SteamWorld Heist, you play as the captain of a steam-driven spaceship
00:16where you recruit a team of ragtag robots
00:20to scavenge and explore the remains of a destroyed world.
00:24It's a robot-eat-robot world out there
00:27and supplies are just desperately hard to come by.
00:30Heisting enemy ships is your only way to remain in operation.
00:34Inside enemy territory, you command your crew
00:37in a unique variety of turn-based shootouts.
00:40One of the special things about SteamWorld Heist
00:43is there's little to no dice rolls.
00:46There's really no chance in the game.
00:48It's purely skill-based.
00:50And it comes down to how you aim your shots
00:53and how you use your teammates' unique abilities.
00:56Now, as you can see, SteamWorld Heist is just very different
01:00from SteamWorld Dig, the earlier game in the SteamWorld series.
01:03A lot of people were asking us to make SteamWorld Dig 2
01:06straight off the bat.
01:07But we wanted to surprise you with something truly unexpected.
01:11Now, what made SteamWorld Dig such a success
01:14was the incredible support from gaming communities
01:17from the very start.
01:19Without that type of support,
01:21I think we just wouldn't be in business anymore.
01:23and we've been able to grow ever since.
01:26So, it's all thanks to you and fellow gamers like yourself.
01:31So, naturally, we've been thinking about ways
01:33to sort of give back to the community.
01:36And that's why I want to talk to you today
01:37about the chance of you becoming a SteamWorld ambassador.
01:43As a SteamWorld ambassador,
01:45you'll be among the first people in the world
01:47to play SteamWorld Heist,
01:49even before it's out there.
01:50This fall, we'll release it
01:52at, say, one or two platforms at a time.
01:55And every time we release it on a new platform,
01:57we'll make sure that you have a download code
01:59for that platform.
02:00And we'll also throw in a few more download codes
02:03so you can share it with your friends.
02:05Ambassadors will also get exclusive information
02:07about the games in the SteamWorld series.
02:10Either I or one of my coworkers
02:11will send that to you personally.
02:13That means that you don't only get, like, a free game,
02:16but you also get hands-on information
02:19about how the games progress as we make them.
02:24Every other Tuesday,
02:25we'll post a challenge on our blog.
02:28And the winner of each individual challenge
02:30will join this official club of SteamWorld Ambassadors.
02:34The challenges will vary in difficulty,
02:37but the reward will always be the same.
02:39That means that if you don't win one week,
02:41you can try again only two weeks later
02:44to try to become an ambassador.
