01:52So let's talk about what the game is and get people – bring people up to speed.

01:56So this game, it's a zombie survival.
01:59It is a zombie survival fantasy game.

02:07I think the fantasy is – and this is something that we think about.
02:11Like when you hear about, oh, there's a disaster took place,
02:14or if there was a zombie invasion, I know I would survive.
02:18This is what I would do.
02:19This sort of gives you that chance to live that fantasy out.

02:23Would you go and you would find a warehouse, as we did here, to hunker down in?
02:29You would find some survivors.
02:31You would throw props.
02:32In fact, let me just take my base.
02:34I want to point out, if you've played, for instance, any other type of zombie games, right?

02:42And let's talk about how it's different.

02:44So this is not a game where you're necessarily cobbling together.
02:47And I'm a huge zombie game fan, but you're not going to be putting together a chainsaw
02:51with a hockey stick and just blowing your way through 10,000 zombies that's not going to happen.

04:14I came all the way over here down into Marshall.
04:17Marshall's the biggest area, the biggest team I'll ever be.
04:23And over here on the outskirts, I found this warehouse.
04:26And it had a lot of room to grow.
04:28And it had a group of people and a lot of facilities I could put in there.
04:32And also, I have close proximity.
04:35See, I marked all of these different things.
04:40Sources of a total source.
04:43That's a really good place.
04:44It's very handy.
04:45Now, is this the entire map here?
04:47This is the entire map here for the original State of Decay.
04:50It also comes with Lifeline and Breakdown.
04:52Lifeline has a separate map.
04:54Breakdown also takes...
04:55So there's really three games in one.

05:07She is somebody that if you've ever played on Xbox 360, as soon as you load up, you're
05:12going to find in your radio menu.
05:15Down on the D-pad, you see the radio menu.
05:17I have a lot of stuff here.
05:19So what's going on here?

05:21At the beginning of the game, you basically have the opportunity to call scavengers.
05:25Like, let's say you find a place that has some ammo, but really, it's just too hot of
05:31a scene for you.
05:31You can send some rooks in there.
05:33You can establish an outpost if you want to...
05:36What I had done on the map here is, I established a number of outposts around my base that sort
05:40of make a clear area where there's a lot fewer zombies, there's traps.
05:44So a horde of zombies comes through.
05:47All right.
05:48So they're never going to get to your main base.
05:49It's going to be very difficult.
05:50There's times where...
05:52Are they always going to come from this direction?
05:53No, no.
05:54They might come over here.
05:55Sometimes a horde will come down this way.
05:56But for the most part, this is a pretty well defensible area.
05:59And this is all mountains.

11:34And, uh, any time, you know, there's sort of a tendency, there's a lot of guns in the game.

11:38Well, shooting like crazy, but really, to, um, want to fire your gun as infrequently as possible.
11:44Because, um, uh, because it makes a lot of noise.
11:50But having a suppressed gun attract more zones.
11:56Some of the bigger stuff, sometimes you just have to do it to survive, but a shotgun is just gonna
12:00cause more problems your way.

15:26Let's talk about that, because what a lot of folks don't realize is that
15:29as you go through the game, you collect and you...

15:34You earn their trust.
15:35You rescue them.
15:36You earn their trust.
15:37They may join you.

15:40So, what happens is, is if you die, then you lose that character.
15:43Now, different characters in the game that you can switch to,
15:45and how do you switch characters?
15:46Oh, yeah.
15:47There's a couple different ways.
15:48One is you just go up to them and say,
15:50Hey, take over for me.
15:51And the other way is...
15:59Ah, you go up on the various fields.

16:12So, this is the type of thing that you need to balance,
