00:33so no one in our studio knew how people would react to it.
00:39From today's perspective everyone see that people were expecting such game.
00:43But did anyone knew that 3 years ago when we started working on it?
00:47I don't think so.
00:48After the announcement we got a lot of positive feedback,
00:50but there were also people questioning our way,
00:53telling us that the games shouldn't talk about such matters
00:55because they are all about fun.
00:57That was the moment when we asked ourselves
00:59why people still think that games cannot tackle serious topics,
01:03why games cannot commend grim reality.
01:05And we decided we are going to do it, no matter what.
01:08Now it's time to bring this experience to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
01:14But it won't be just a port or remaster like you see a majority of games
01:17being brought to the platforms.
01:19In fact, we are expanding the experience
01:22and to the world of civilians trying to survive war,
01:25we are bringing kids.
01:26Once again we wanted to push the boundaries even further
01:29and this is why we created this war of mine the little ones.
01:33For some reasons you don't have kids in games,
01:36especially in games about war.
01:38But our game is different from them.
01:40It's about regular people and their emotions.
01:42We believe it wouldn't be complete without kids.
01:45So we did that and I can tell you it was really hard time for the whole team.
01:49Many of us are parents and we couldn't stop ourselves from thinking
01:53that such things may happen to our children.
01:57In this war of mine the little ones you will play as adults and children facing the hardships of wartime
02:02survival.
02:04Adults will have to get food, bandages, medications.
02:07They will have to fight to defend themselves.
02:10They will have to scavenge and look for necessities.
02:12And now, do you have kids?
02:15Because I do and I know that kids, despite of everything, they need to laugh.
02:20In the game, like in reality, kid needs protection,
02:23they need to play toys, run and jump all around no matter the surrounding war zone.
02:28They need someone to talk to because they need to feel safe.
02:31You'll need to think like a kid to make the kid survive the war.
