01:44Oh, set ist sort of the end product of what is sort of a collaboration.
01:51First, you know, we have phone calls, and we have Zooms, I have questions, they're received,
01:57I might want to tweak, and those happen, and there was sort of, they showed straight away that
02:03they were willing, so willing to collaborate and explain and create a world for my character,
02:08so that when I walked onto set, I kind of expected that it was going to be what it was,
02:14which
02:14was safe and free and fun, fun as well.
02:19Yeah.
02:19And were there any aspects of Tommy's development in this movie that still surprised you or felt
02:27like a new experience for the character?
02:29Well, I think the fact that he's kind of just stopped, and he doesn't have anybody around
02:34him, there's no family left, really, except for the son, you know, and Johnny Dogs is like
02:40his best friend, and that's it. So he's just got ghosts. It's like a ghost story. I suppose that kind
02:47of
02:47surprised me that the first, sort of first, like 20 minutes of the movie are like a ghost story.
02:53And that was, that was, yeah, and it's really, really kind of cool.
02:57And it's a state we've never seen him in before.
02:59Never. I mean, he's, we've seen him, but he's always moving, you know, so they can't catch up with him.
03:06And Rebecca, the series has an extremely passionate fan base, of course. When you read the script,
03:12was there a moment when you thought a particular decision might divide the fans in the movie script?
03:24Um, no, I think there are moments in the script that will make the fans feel things, whether they're
03:33split, but it will be emotional and all of the things that we want people to feel when they watch
03:39a
03:40film. But I'm not sure they'll be, I think, divided. I'm not saying it's a simple word,
03:44but I think they'll, they'll feel. They will feel.
03:48And you've mentioned ghosts, um, throughout the series and now in the film as well, the ghosts of
03:55the dead keep appearing. At the same time, we know that the Peaky Blindness universe is expected to
04:02expand further in the future. Could you imagine bringing Tommy back as a ghost or as a spirit?
04:10As a ghost? You'd have to ask Steve Knight about that. That's the man to ask.
