02:59After a narrow defeat in the Eliminator, Millie qualified for the quarters as one of the fastest runners-up.

04:44Contender and Gladiator must push a 220-kilogram sliding wall across a 10-metre platform,
04:51each trying to shove their opponent over the edge into a chilling 16-foot drop.
04:58When the siren sounds, the platform tilts, first giving the contender the advantage,
05:03before shifting in favour of the Gladiator.
05:07Who will conquer the summit, and who will face the terrifying plummet?

05:17Facing the mighty Everest for the very first time is Helena, but which Gladiator will she be up against?

07:08She will be mindful of the fact that the tilt's coming though,
07:11and when the tilt comes in the Contender's favour,
07:14it means the Gladiator is surely only going to go one way.

11:03Six male contenders brought their A-game in the heat, battling it out for a place in the quarter-finals.
11:09Tonight, Mo and Sean will go up against the Gladiators and then each other in the Eliminator, hoping they can
11:15burst through that finish line and into the semis.
11:19In the heat, 20-year-old aerospace degree apprentice Sean blasted up the wall and left Nitro grasping at air.
11:27He's been working hard today. Look at these!
11:30On Hang Tough against Steel, he showcased his strength for five points.
11:34I went in there with the mindset of what I need to do, and I did exactly that.
11:38In the Eliminator, Sean crashed out, but he has won another chance as one of the fastest runners-up.
11:47Sean takes on construction foreman Mo.
11:50In the heat, he showcased his speed and spry wit.
11:53I looked back once, and I saw a big tall figure, and I thought, oh, no.
11:58Before steamrolling through gauntlets to claim maximum points.
12:01It was brilliant, physical, and just my attributes.
12:04After a nail-biting Eliminator and three tries on the legendary Travelator, he cemented his place in the quarter-final.

28:51Phantom's favourite film is of course Ghostbusters.
28:54He finds it dead funny, but there's nothing fun about having to face this gladiator.
29:00Despite being our resident bad boy, Viper's never actually been disqualified from gauntlet.

41:46She's really finding her feet now, and now senses there's a gap.

41:54And if our gladiator would forgive me, it's the contender putting in a dynamite performance.

44:03I suppose that carries a warning in itself, because Sabah cats are probably quite good at hunting gazelles.
44:09And Millie being made to think about a different strategy.

44:14Oh, but she missed her.
44:15And Millie does get through to get another two points on the board.

44:22She could get a maximum here, you know.
44:25Sabah tells her to go to the side, and that's where she went.

45:27And he's hoping to avoid Apollo.

45:49So Mo from Swansea facing Apollo from, well, the far edge of the universe.
45:54Oh, and Mo is nearly sent crashing over the edge there.
45:57It's a brilliant recovery from our contender.
46:00And now he gets himself set to go again.

46:07You don't often see a construction foreman up there on the scaffold.
46:11At least he's got his hard hat on.
46:13Oh, and it's intensifying now.

46:18And it's the gladiator who goes through the gap and down into the net,
46:23which leaves Mo free to cross and cross and cross again.
46:28As long as he doesn't lose his footing,
46:31Mo has a free pass through to the maximum 10 points here.
46:36And that would mean that he opens up a really big lead
46:40and ramps up the pressure on Sean,
46:43who's awaiting his turn to go.
46:45Still, Mo makes absolutely sure.
46:47But he's there.
46:49He's home and dry.
46:50It's another Mo maximum.
46:53And even Marv gets a coach.

49:48it's the female contenders.
49:51Millie finished two points ahead of Helena,
49:53and with each point being worth half a second,
49:56it means Millie has a one-second head start.

50:08Millie, you will go on my first whistle.

50:19It's not a lot, is it?
50:20But Millie's determined to make the most
50:22of that slender advantage,
50:23and she's started with all guns blazing here.
50:27She's struggled on the rope in the heat,
50:29but no bother at all tonight.
50:31She's up in a flash,
50:32and it's Helena who's having a few problems
50:35getting onto that podium.
50:37Millie's already halfway across the overhead ladders.

50:42But, and she's got an even healthier lead now,
50:45and she swings into action on the trapeze,
50:48straight onto the cargo net.
50:51Oh, Helen has got some ground to make up.
50:53But she won't entertain any thoughts of giving up,
50:56because we've seen so many eliminators
50:58where the tide has turned.
51:00It could come down to one mistake,
51:02and that is what Millie must guard against.

51:46she gets to the end of the beam,
51:48turns, looks at Helena,
51:51takes stock,
51:51and thinks about a first-time run of the Travellator.

54:29will be staying focused
54:30on staring straight ahead.

54:38A long stride onto the cargo net from Mo.
54:42Look how close Sean is now.
54:44But in the heat,
54:45he left for the net and missed it.
54:46So there's an improvement.
54:48And he certainly narrowed that gap from the start.
