00:00I think the sense of community is lost now and people are more busy, especially youngsters are
00:06more busy creating their lives online on the internet rather than really connecting with
00:11people outside their homes. The previous generations had the liberty to like interact
00:18more because they were less on the screens and more out and about. They had the time to talk
00:23to each other. Now if you're out and you feel awkward, the first thing that you do is take
00:28out your phone, look into your phone and you can avoid a conversation just like that.
00:33And I do believe there is a section of people who are very much interested to go out and
00:38meet people but those opportunities especially in Canberra, I think those are really less
00:43and limited and I feel ConnectUp has been a great platform for people to connect and to
00:49socialize with each other.
