00:03Join us as we make ready for one dangerous trip in the harshest environment ever inhabited by mankind, Mars.
00:11With its terraforming aborted hundreds of years ago and a murderous son to boot,
00:15the Red Planet isn't exactly a hospitable place,
00:18and every nook and cranny of the forsaken planet holds deadly lurking threats.
00:23Many hybrid creatures roam the canyons of Mars.
00:27Originally bio-engineered by the first settlers from the genetic makeup of animals found on Earth,
00:32they have since gotten loose, creating a budding ecosystem.
00:36The harsh living conditions led them to mutate along the centuries, developing effective defense mechanisms.
00:42Most of them are aggressive and territorial, downright deadly should you fight them unprepared.
00:52But the other human survivors can be just as dangerous.
00:55Ever since Mars got isolated from Earth, multiple factions have risen.
01:00The corporation Aurora and its rival Abundance, which you are part of, are among the most powerful.
01:06More secretive factions exist, such as the underworld mobs who call themselves the Vori,
01:12the Merchants Guild of Noctis,
01:14and the less lucky mutants whose DNA degenerated after being exposed to solar radiations
01:19and who are now living as slaves and outcasts.
01:22You will be able to befriend those factions or antagonize them,
01:26depending on your actions and your choices throughout the story.
01:30Hopefully, you have all the tools to survive the harsh environment of Mars.
01:36Technomancer powers can cover a wide range of uses.
01:38You have access to damaging powers, such as the most basic Electric Arc or the more advanced Electric Storm,
01:45but also support powers.
01:47The Electric Fist will help you control the pace of combat thanks to its superior stunning and disrupting ability.
01:53Electric Weapon will imbue your current blade, mace or staff with deathly sparks,
01:58and magnetic shield will surround you with an intangible field, negating incoming damage for a time.
02:04All Technomancer powers are devastating in their own right,
02:07but you'll have to use them tactically as each use will cost you focus,
02:11a slow, regenerating resource.
02:13Each of your powers are upgraded by spending points in the skill tree,
02:17but they also have access to two mutually exclusive upgrades, changing the way the power behaves.
02:23Your Technomancy powers complement your combat stance of choice.
02:26Combat with the Staff, Signature of the Technomancer.
02:30With a blade and gun, Mark of the Road.
02:33Or mace and shield, the weapons favoured by soldiers.
02:37The combat with the Staff is based on mobility and area damage, using sweet moves and blows.
02:43Its wide attack can stagger multiple enemies at a time,
02:46and so this stance is most effective against big groups of enemies.
02:50Fighting with the blade and gun requires agility and careful dodging.
02:53The blade has a higher critical rate than other weapons,
02:57and can poison enemies for additional damage over time.
03:00The Nailgun lets you control the pace of the combat by interrupting enemies from far,
03:04and land finishing blows at safe rate.
03:08Finally, the mace and shield combat stance focuses on defence.
03:12It is less mobile than other stances, but allows you to block incoming attacks and gunshots.
03:17Parrying at the last second lets you stagger enemies and inflict deadly counter-attack.
03:22Just like for Technomancer, each of these three stances has its own skill tree,
03:27where you can gain new skills, but also improve them using different upgrade paths.
03:33Whatever your stance of choice may be, your companions will help you in combat.
03:37They all have their own talents, complementing your own.
03:40Tanks, ranged combat specialist, healer.
03:43In the midst of battle, you'll be able to assign them different behaviours to adapt,
03:48depending on the current situation and what you want them to do,
03:50such as focusing on melee combat or keeping you alive.
03:54Upgrading your arsenal will be equally important.
03:57You will loot and buy better weapons and armour, or receive them as a quest reward.
04:01Each has its own bonuses, and some of them also have crafting slots,
04:05allowing you to further improve their stats according to your preferences and playstyle.
04:09You'll be able to improve damage, resistance, as well as add various special effects,
04:14such as disruption, resistance to specific damage types, energy regeneration, and more.
04:21However, brute force won't be the only tool at your disposal to overcome adversity.
04:26If you decide to select them, different talents will help you take alternative routes.
04:30The stealth talent will help you sneak around, taking down targets silently to weaken a group of enemies,
04:36or simply to pass through unnoticed.
04:40Traps and lockpicking allows you to set traps on the patrol route of enemies,
04:44but also often lets you access alternative routes by unlocking doors.
04:49The science and charisma talents will allow you to try and defuse tense situations before they explode,
04:54successfully averting a crisis without having to fight.
04:57So I'm telling you to get the hell out of all fear, and don't look back.
05:01I don't... sure.
05:03Yeah, sure. Bye, Lieutenant.
05:06Survive the many dangers of Mars, and you will become the most powerful Technomancer master.
05:13Forge the Destiny of Mars, June 28th on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
