00:00On the planet Youtya Prime, a runt predator named Dek is on a training session.
00:04He uses a variety of tools to travel the land until he enters a cave, where his scanner
00:08tells him that his brother is hiding nearby.
00:10Dek attacks behind him with his sword and Kwe blocks it just in time.
00:13The brothers begin to fight and Kwe keeps taunting Dek as they move, reminding him to
00:17use the cave to his advantage.
00:19Swords keep on clashing as they move all over the cave, and after exchanging enough blows
00:22Kwe manages to corner Dek but doesn't kill him.
00:25When Dek refuses to yield, Kwe cuts the pillar they're standing on and Dek falls into the
00:29abyss.
00:29He manages to save himself by holding onto the wall.
00:32He climbs back up and attacks Kwe again.
00:35Later on their ship, Kwe tells Dek it's time to choose a prey so he can earn his place in
00:39the Youtya clan.
00:40Dek wants to go to Jena, also known as the Death Planet, to hunt the unkillable monster Kalisk.
00:45Even their father fears it and that's why Dek wants to go after it.
00:47He's tired of his dad seeing him as a weakling.
00:50Kwe doesn't approve, however Dek makes his vow.
00:52At that moment their father N'Jar returns and Dek welcomes his honor with a sample of
00:56his blood.
00:56N'Jar wonders why Dek is alive, revealing he ordered Kwe to kill him because he's too
01:00weak to be part of the clan.
01:02However Kwe thinks Dek deserves a chance to prove himself.
01:05An angry N'Jar throws a device that captures Dek and tells Kwe to kill him now, but instead
01:09Kwe frees him and activates his laser to send him into the ship.
01:12Then Kwe activates his shield to protect his brother since N'Jar opens fire.
01:16After closing the ship to keep Dek from escaping, Kwe starts fighting N'Jar and in just a few
01:20moves he manages to disarm him.
01:22N'Jar activates his camouflage cloak but Kwe keeps punching, so N'Jar stabs his hand
01:26before chopping his arm off.
01:28Then N'Jar strikes his son down and Kwe starts crawling away, reaching for his arm rather
01:32than his sword.
01:33N'Jar calls him weak and stabs him, so Kwe uses his last breath to activate the ship
01:37so his brother can go to Jena.
01:38Dek watches N'Jar Sla Kwe's neck as the ship's launch knocks him out.
01:42Sometime later Dek is awakened by an alarm.
01:44The ship has been damaged by the debris in orbit and is hurling towards Jena.
01:48Dek rushes to the seat and ejects it, so it starts falling at great speed through the
01:51Jena sky.
01:52When a bird almost crashes into him, he activates the shield.
01:56He ends up crashing in the jungle and he roars in frustration.
01:59Determined to find the monster, Dek takes stock of his weapons to confirm everything
02:02is working well.
02:03He's startled by a noise nearby and starts searching the area.
02:06Suddenly a vine-like creature takes him by surprise and steals one of his weapons.
02:10Dek gets his sword ready, but a second vine grabs his arm and he has to cut this one while
02:14the first one escapes.
02:16Unfortunately more vines appear and reach for him until they grab his leg to drag him on
02:19the ground.
02:20Dek manages to take his bow to shoot his captor to force it to drop him, and punches the vine
02:24to keep it back.
02:25Then Dek runs to retrieve his sword and quickly slashes the vines that keep attacking him.
02:29No matter how many he cuts down though, more and more keep coming and they even start attacking
02:33together.
02:33Dek quickly dodges a few blows and jumps on top of a vine to run on it, which helps him
02:37get to the top of a cliff.
02:39The vines can't reach him up there and now Dek has a good view of the planet, which looks
02:42terrifying.
02:43Afterward Dek washes his wound in the river and uses his scanner to find a medicinal plant
02:47that can serve as a bomb.
02:49On a leaf he finds a worm that starts growing red spheres and when he throws it away, it
02:52explodes.
02:53Then he goes out to explore and search for the callusk.
02:56On a big field he finds some strange red plants that keep hissing at him, so he moves carefully
03:00to avoid them.
03:01At that moment Dek hears a voice talking in a strange language and looks up to see Thea
03:05trapped in a huge nest.
03:06Realizing he can't understand her, Thea changes to the universal translator, which confirms
03:11she's an android known as a synthetic.
03:13Suddenly a Jenna vulture appears nearby and grabs a rock to throw at the strange plants.
03:17This makes the pods explode with red smoke and shoot their needles, which Dek quickly
03:21dodges.
03:21Thea explains that the needles can paralyze him so that the vulture can eat him.
03:25When Thea offers her help, Dek says that the Youtya hunt alone and Thea guesses he's here
03:29for the callusk.
03:30The vulture throws more rocks and multiple plants are activated, so Dek is hit by the

03:40The vulture flies down and is about to eat him when Thea tackles the beast and brutally
03:44kills it with the blade.
03:45Dek sees her wave before passing out.
03:47Minutes later Dek wakes up because Thea has given him an antidote made from the same flower.
03:51Dek stands up and helps Thea do the same, only to notice that she's missing half her
03:55body.
03:55She explains she's a synthetic scent by the Weyland-Yutani corporation because humans can't
04:00live on this planet, but Dek doesn't care and drops her.
04:02Thea then points out that many Youtya have come for the callusk and none of them survived,
04:06but she did.
04:07If he takes her with him she'll guide him to the callusk's den, that way she gets her
04:10legs and he gets his trophy.
04:12Dek realizes that it was the callusk who destroyed her, but he's still not interested.
04:16However when Thea calls herself a useful tool, Dek doesn't see it as breaking the
04:19code anymore and agrees to bring her along.
04:21While they travel, Thea never shuts up and keeps asking questions.
04:25At the river some peculiar worms begin shooting acid at them, so Dek carries Thea on his back
04:29to run faster.
04:31Unfortunately he finds the way blocked, and Thea uses the chance to teach him a lesson.
04:35She throws a sticky fruit on the ground and the creatures rush to eat it.

04:48Thea shares that her crew arrived on Jenna two years ago and she was trapped in the vulture's
04:52nest for almost two weeks.
04:53She had hoped that another synthetic named Tessa would come for her, and tells Dek that they
04:57have a higher sensitivity than other models.
04:59Dek sees sensitivity as a weakness but Thea thinks it's an advantage to understand other
05:03creatures.
05:04Thea used to be stuck in the lab but one day Tessa brought her out to explore.
05:08Unfortunately that was also the day that the callusk attacked them.
05:10Meanwhile at the crew's new base, it's revealed that Tessa looks just like Thea.
05:14She received severe damage during the callusk attack so now she's in a pod being repaired.
05:19Tessa keeps repeating Thea's name and remembering the incident, so the computer reminds her that
05:23her priority is to catch the callusk.
05:25The computer also detects the presence of a yautia and classifies him as a threat.
05:29When Tessa finally wakes up, she's told that Thea was captured by the yautia.
05:32In the morning, Dek goes out to hunt for food.
05:35He comes across a bone bison, which is usually callusk food.

06:08When the bison runs near them, Dek jumps on it and stabs it, however the bison throws them
06:12off by using another tree.
06:14The small creature rolls ahead of them and a frustrated Dek tackles it to start a fight,
06:18which means Thea often gets smushed.
06:20The little guy has surprising strength but after some struggle, Dek manages to grab it by its neck.
06:24At that moment the bison comes running toward them, so Dek throws his sword and holds the bison's
06:29mouth open as the blade proceeds to cut it in half.
06:31Dek roars to celebrate a successful hunt only for a tentacle to suddenly grab his leg and lift him.
06:36The duo has been captured by a luna bug, whose tight tentacle tongue is stopping Dek from activating
06:40his devices.
06:41When they're about to be eaten, the little creature jumps into the luna bug's mouth and blocks its
06:45teeth with its hard skin, breaking them.
06:47The luna bug is in so much pain that it spits them out and leaves by walking on the razor
06:51grass.
06:52Desperate for revenge, Dek cuts down a tree to use it as a bridge.
06:55The little creature is rolling down the field already and the luna bug captures it with its tongue,
07:00but at that moment Dek lands on its head.
07:02He stabs the monster with his sword and makes a large cut that finally kills it.
07:05Meanwhile Tessa and her crew of synthetics are searching for Thea.
07:08They find Dek's pod before they're attacked by the vines.
07:11The crew quickly opens fire to slow them down,
07:14then they activate their flamethrowers to burn all the vines down.

08:41Dek uses a piece of metal as a shield and slides under the Kalask to slice its belly,
08:45then he throws his small blade at its head and cuts its tail.
08:47However the tail quickly regrows and the wound's close because the Kalask has regenerative powers,
08:52which explains why it's considered unkillable.
08:54The monster captures Dek and throws it against the repair machine,
08:57which causes Thea's legs to fall off the table.
08:59When it grabs him again, Del cuts its tongue to free himself.

09:55usually kill weak children and says that belonging to her company should be an honor for him.
09:59Then Tessa wakes up Thea and congratulates her for getting two specimens. She gives Dek a painful
10:03injection to experiment on him, so Thea tries to smoothly save him by pointing out he's a rut and therefore
10:08not ideal for science. She thinks they should keep his weapons and let Dek go. Tessa still wants a
10:13sample, so she connects two cables to his head that cause him lots of pain. A desperate Thea turns off
10:18the machine and tells Tessa they should be more than robots that only follow orders. In fact she
10:22wants them to be sisters. However Tessa reveals she didn't come back to rescue Thea, she came for the
10:27Kalask. She agrees with the Yautja's tradition of getting rid of the weak and calls Thea broken. At that
10:32moment Tessa gets a call from Earth, so she leaves to take it after ordering a guard to box Thea

10:36Since the guy can't speak Yautja, Dek asks Thea to make him open one of his devices. Thea tells the

11:06dangers to use as weapons, like blades of razorglass and the spikes from the red flowers. He also gets
11:11the acid worm by using the fruit. While working, he comes across Bud and smells its spit. He finally
11:16realizes that Bud is the Kalask's child and he was spared for smelling like it, so Dek covers Bud with
11:21his own spit instead. Lastly, he frees Thea's legs so he can follow them to their owner. At the new
11:26base,
11:27Dek appears wearing the bison bones as armor and throws acid at a guard to bring him down. The legs
11:31follow a signal from Thea, who is in suspension inside a box. When two guards try to attack the
11:36legs, Dek quickly defeats them with a whip made with vines and razor grass. Bud also helps by
11:41destroying a guard in seconds. The duo keeps sneaking around the base, bringing down any guard in the
11:46way so the legs can keep moving without interruptions. Meanwhile Tessa is talking to the company and
11:50reports they'll go back soon with the Kalask. When asked about Dek, she tells them that he's dead.
11:55With his collection of natural weapons, Dek keeps destroying synthetic guards, sometimes fighting a few of
12:00them at the same time. Inside a lab, a guard manages to corner him so Dek breaks a glass cage
12:05and lets a vine sample kill him instead. When the legs find the box, they jump on a guard's neck
12:10and
12:10quickly kill him before opening the container. Thea awakes and celebrates but she hears guards coming,
12:14so she pretends to be asleep again. The legs kick a guard to make him fall and Thea jumps
12:19out to fight him while the legs confront the second guy. Both body halves help each other in battle and
12:23when a guard is about to hit the legs, they jump away and the blow destroys the other synthetic,
12:27who is being held by Thea. Then she holds up a small machine piece and the legs push the final
12:32guard's head on it to kill him too. Soon Dek finds the box too but it's empty. A guard surprises
12:37him
12:37from behind, only for Thea to kill him with a shot. Her halves are finally back together and she's
12:41surprised to see Dek, who admits he came back for her like a proud wolf. Thea wants to leave but
12:46Dek
12:46announces they must free the Kalask so Bud can be with its mother. Suddenly an alarm goes off and Tessa
12:51tells her men to speed up the launch of the ship with the Kalask while she investigates.
12:54A team of soldiers finds Dek, who activates the combustible worms to create a nice explosion
12:59that destroys all the synthetics in one go. Then Tessa appears inside a battling suit and
13:04shoots Dek with a laser she stole from his ship, which kills his acid worm. She uses the suit to
13:08bring down structures and pulls out a huge saw, but Dek dodges it all. In the main ship, Thea tries
13:13to access the Kalask but the cage is locked. When a guard comes by, she fails to impersonate Tessa so
13:19she smashes the guy's head on the cage instead. Then she uses his eyes to open the lock. When an

13:24throws Dek into the lab, the suit hand comes down and is captured by the moving vine. Dek tries to
13:29climb it but Tessa immediately throws him off, so he hides behind a container. Tessa lifts it but
13:33doesn't see him. It turns out he's climbed on the container to be above her. Now Dek can jump on
13:38Tessa
13:38to beat her up, but she quickly closes the cockpit. Suddenly the Kalask appears and jumps on the suit,
13:43so Tessa activates the saw to stab it and lift it. While she's distracted, Dek climbs to the back of
13:48the
13:48suit and starts ripping cables off to slow it down. Tessa throws a grenade at the Kalask, but Dek hits
13:53it with a metal rod and makes it land on the suit's arm, so the ice makes it drop the
13:57Kalask. The
13:58beast removes the saw from its body and attacks the suit, splitting it in two. When the upper half
14:02lands, the Kalask devours Tessa and roars in victory. The others reunite with Dek and they watch the Kalask
14:07check on its kid. They share a sweet moment and Dek is inspired to show his respect for the Kalask

14:12by bumping foreheads. Suddenly the Kalask explodes from an ice grenade activated by Tessa, who has
14:17been alive inside the beast's stomach. She emerges from the rubble and tries to attack Thea, only for
14:22Dek to stab her from behind, finally killing her. He takes back his device and Bud rips off her head.
14:27Sometime later Dek returns to Yautja and presents Tessa's head to his father. Njar still thinks he's a
14:32disgrace and sends out two guards to kill him, but Dek moves fast and easily kills them first. Then Dek
14:37fights Njar, who hides with his camouflage cloak. Dek activates the ship's engine to create a
14:42sandstorm that allows him to see his father's location and cuts his arm off to stop him.
14:46Then he captures him with a caged device. When Dek symbolically stabs his dad's helmet, Njar takes
