00:00We're making great progress with Hellblade Senaward Sacrificed but not quite great enough so Hellblade will now be released in
00:062017 and we wanted to give you the honest reasons for this.
00:10Firstly, earlier in the year we had a project cancelled here at Ninja Theory and that took some time to
00:15sort out.
00:16Also we had a rare opportunity to collaborate with Epic Games and others to push performance capture technology forward for
00:21the whole videogames industry.
00:25Thirdly, our progress on Hellblade has not been as fast as we would have liked.
00:28One of the reasons we're creating Hellblade independently is because it puts decisions in our hands.
00:34Rushing the game out for release or compromising on quality is not something we're willing to entertain.
00:38We don't have a release date for you right now but we'll let you know when we can be certain
00:42of one ourselves.
00:44It may seem like Hellblade is taking a long time to create.
00:47This is because we chose to announce the game right at the beginning of development to bring you on this
00:51journey with us.
00:53If we had chose the usual publisher approach we'd be announcing the game around now.
00:57We wanted you to see first hand how a game takes shape from rough beginnings and evolves over time.
01:06This is not something most developers risk doing but we believe by showing you the creative process in full we
01:12can bring you closer to the game and to us.
