U.S. hockey star Jack Hughes is out of luck — and his historic puck.The Hockey Hall of Fame (HHOF) responded after Hughes, 24, told ESPN on Tuesday, March 17 he thinks it's "bulls---" that he doesn't get to keep the puck from his gold medal-winning goal at the 2026 Winter Olympics.On Wednesday, March 18, the Hall of Fame responded to Hughes' gripe. Philip Pritchard, vice president of the resource center and curator for the HHOF, told ESPN, "Unfortunately, in the easiest words, it was never Jack's puck to own."Pritchard added, "It's been donated to us now. For every artifact that's been donated, we have a paper trail and signed paperwork of where it's come from," per ESPN.
