00:06And that is an AI colouring book business.
00:09Now, you might be thinking, Lucy, is that really something profitable?
00:12How do I make sure there's enough demand?
00:14Well, while everyone's talking about AI replacing jobs,
00:17what they're missing is that AI is also creating thousands of untapped opportunities.
00:22Most of these opportunities, by the way, are not in 9-to-5 jobs.
00:25One of them is in the book publishing industry.
00:27More specifically, Amazon KDP.
00:30If you haven't heard of Amazon KDP before, it's pretty much when you upload a book on Amazon
00:35and when someone clicks buy, Amazon will print one copy of it and then send it to the customer.
00:40That way, you have no inventory and no unnecessary upfront costs.
00:44Pretty cool, right?
00:44Now, up until recently, if you want to sell colouring books,
00:47you'll have to hire an illustrator and then go through a lengthy publishing process.
00:52But now, thanks to AI, you can now publish books like these in under 30 minutes.
00:56If we look at this one, for example, a stress relief colouring book for adults,
01:00we can estimate that it's got over 400,000 purchases, given the amount of reviews.
01:05If we multiply that with $9.99, that's $4 million in revenue.
01:09Amazon pays creators around 50-70% of the sales profit.
01:13This colouring book, by the way, was only created two years ago
01:16and the publisher has over 300 books listed, which honestly blows my mind.
01:20You can only imagine how much money they're making.
01:22And so, in this video, I'm going to walk you through exactly how to find a profitable niche,
01:27how to make a colouring book with AI, and how to actually get it published on Amazon.
01:32You can do all three, by the way, using a platform called BookBolt.
01:35So yeah, let's get into it.
01:37Now, to create a colouring book with AI,
01:39all we have to do is head over to BookBolt and sign up for a free account.
01:43So, just fill in your details and click sign up.
01:45Once you log in, here's what you'll see.
01:47Now, what's great about BookBolt is that you can actually do two things with it.
01:51The first one, of course, is using it to create books with AI.
01:54The second is doing market research to see which books will actually sell well.
01:58If we can find a profitable niche with high demand and relatively low supply,
02:03then that's where the money is.
02:04So, before actually creating our colouring book,
02:07you can do a quick product search to see what else is on the market.
02:10I just searched for colouring books, and here are the results.
02:13You can filter it by things like rating and price.
02:16As you can see, there's a whole range of books,
02:19from flowers to boys colouring books, animal colouring books, and also countries.
02:25But here's where things get interesting.
02:27So, if you click on keyword search on the left,
02:30you can actually see the search volume of different keywords.
02:33So, you can see here that adult colouring books have a pretty high search volume,
02:37followed by kids colouring book, colouring book in general,
02:40as well as some more specific ones, such as Halloween.
02:42On the right-hand side, you can actually see the amount of competition each keyword gets.
02:47So, for example, book colouring has a low competition.
02:51Okay, so after doing a bit of research,
02:53I figured out that wizard's colouring book actually has a pretty decent search volume of around 2,400,
02:59and the competition is quite low.
03:01And so, what I'm going to do is create a colouring book with this theme.
03:05Now, before you decide on your own niche,
03:07you can also check out this smoothers and shakers tab.
03:09This gives you a list of books that are currently shaking up the market
03:12and hopefully provide some extra inspiration.
03:15So, for example, this lunar new year calendar is doing quite well.
03:19Also, this puzzle book for cat lovers.
03:21All of these, by the way, you can very easily create within BookBolt.
03:24So, yeah, let's get started on creating our first book.
03:27Click on BookBolt Studio over here,
03:29and then click on New Project.
03:31We're going to select a paperback and call it Wizard Colouring Book.
03:35As for the paper type, let's select Black and White Interior with White Paper.
03:39These are the typical settings for a colouring book,
03:42which actually benefits us because it's quite low cost to make.
03:45We're not going with any coloured pages or a hard copy.
03:48All right, click Create Project, and here's what you'll see.
03:51Pretty much what we have right now is a blank canvas,
03:54but I'm going to make this colouring book come to life in under a minute.
03:57Step number one, we're going to add a background image.
04:00So, I'll search for Wizard and choose this background.
04:04I'm going to expand this so that it fills both the front and back,
04:07and then add in a text box.
04:09For the text, I'm just going to type in Wizard Colouring Book,
04:13and change the font as well, maybe this one.
04:16The next step is to fill in the pages with things to colour in.
04:19So, just click on this sparkle icon, image generator, and then type in Wizard.
04:25For the style, you have quite a few to choose from,
04:27but of course, we'll just select Colouring.
04:29As for the aspect ratio, we're going to go with Portrait to match our dimensions for the page.
04:34And we can actually generate multiple images at once.
04:37So, for the image count, let's click on 4, and click Generate Image.
04:41By the way, you can easily do something like this using ChatGPT,
04:44but the good thing with using Book Bolt is that you don't have to re-enter the prompt very specifically.
04:49So, for example, I just typed in Wizard.
04:51I didn't have to type in a long prompt just to convey what I want.
04:54Cool, so all four of these wizards look pretty good to me.
04:57So, I'm going to add in all of them to our book.
05:00Amazing.
05:01So, in just under a minute, we have a colouring book with both a front and back cover,
05:05as well as four images to colour in.
05:08You can repeat the process for the remaining pages,
05:10but what I want to show you now is that you can actually go beyond colouring books.
05:14If you click on this jigsaw icon over here,
05:16there's actually a bunch of templates you can use to create all sorts of books.
05:19So, for example, journals, graph books, mini games, and even Sudoku.
05:25If I click on Sudoku, for example, and select the pages we want to apply it to,
05:29we can select what type of puzzles we like.
05:31So, for example, changing the difficulty to normal and having two puzzles per page.
05:36Click continue, submit, and in just a few seconds,
05:39we have a few pages of Sudoku as well as their solutions, which is pretty cool.
05:44I mean, if you were to do this manually, it could take you hours.
05:47So, yeah, definitely play around with it to see what type of books you can make.
05:51There's also a story generator, which is pretty cool too.
05:53Now, let's say we're happy with our book and we're ready to publish it onto Amazon KDP.
05:58All you have to do is click on Download and select the first option.
06:01This option is optimised for Amazon books.
06:04Once the download is complete, you'll be given a zip file with your book.
06:07Now, to publish your book, just go onto Amazon KDP and create an account.
06:11Once you're inside, you can click on Create New Title or Series,
06:15select Paperback, and then fill in all the details.
06:18Now, as you'll remember from earlier,
06:20BookBolt actually gave us a list of keywords and their search volume.
06:23So, you can use these keywords to guide your title as well as the tags.
06:27I'm going to call my book Wizard Colouring Book and just add in a couple of keywords from this list.
06:34Wizard Colouring Books and Wizard World of Magic Colouring Book, which seems to get a lot of searches.
06:39I'll leave it up to you to complete the rest of the steps,
06:42but as you can see, the whole process was pretty straightforward,
06:45especially when using AI to generate the book.
06:47And honestly, instead of worrying about AI replacing our jobs,
06:51I think we should all be making books right now and publishing them on Amazon.
06:54It's a great way to build a side income.
