00:34Today, the officials of Eagle Andhra Pradesh are visiting various de-addiction centers.
00:41And today we visited a government hospital Vijayivada de-addiction center.
00:46The main purpose is that to understand how the treatment is going and what are the types
00:52of consumers are coming here and taking medicines.
00:56And especially, we are focusing on all the 48 de-addiction centers existing across the
01:03state.
01:04And government is also contemplating to establish three state-of-art de-addiction centers, especially
01:10in Vijayivada, Vishakapatnam and Tirupati.
01:14And besides that Eagle Andhra Pradesh and Andhra Pradesh police have taken up a lot of impact
01:19operations.
01:20One of such operations, the operation Chaitanyam.
01:22We eradicated the cultivation of ganja in the state of Andhra Pradesh by using drone
01:27surveillance, edrine satellites, coordinate search operations.
01:30And besides that, a lot of awareness camps and the support given to farmers in connection
01:36with this particular thing, alternative crop support.
01:39And last one year, almost 46 lakhs of saplings, 21 different types of seeds have been given
01:43to farmers.
01:44And similarly, we are focusing on other impact operations, operation Eagle On Trains, because
01:49we are getting ganja from Orissa.
01:51And we are checking continuously the trains and buses and other modes of operations through
01:59Orissa, especially Kauraput and Malkangiri.
02:02And besides that, operation Garuda, OPR debuts also we are controlling.
02:06Operation Safe Campus addressing the issues, tobacco-free education institutions.
02:11We are also recently launched one operation Vajra Pradesh, coordinate search operations across
02:16the state to control illegal activities, especially ganja and other drugs activities.
02:22And we are doing a PT and DPS act also, habitual offenders are booked under the Patlar Act, and
02:27they are being confined in the prison for one to two years.
