2023 అసెంబ్లీ ఎన్నికల సందర్భంగా కాంగ్రెస్ పార్టీ ప్రజలకు పలు హామీలు ఇచ్చింది. ఇందులో భాగంగా అసరా పింఛన్లను రూ.2 వేల నుంచి రూ.4 వేలకు పెంచుతామని ప్రకటించింది. ఆ తర్వాత కాంగ్రెస్ అధికారంలోకి వచ్చింది. ఈ నేపథ్యంలో లబ్ధిదారులు ఆశగా ఎదురు చూస్తున్నారు. డిప్యూటీ సీఎం, ఆర్థిక శాఖ మంత్రి భట్టి విక్రమార్క మార్చి 20న బడ్జెట్ ప్రవేశపెట్టనున్నారు. అసరా పెన్షన్ పెంపుపై ప్రకటన చేసే అవకాశం ఉందని భావిస్తున్నారు.
