00:00Three teenage girls are suing Elon Musk's ex-AI, claiming that the social media platform's
00:05Grok AI chatbot made nude images out of their photos, creating child sexual abuse material
00:11that is spread across social media. A single perpetrator was arrested back in December and
00:16accused of compiling images and videos of more than 18 girls, many of whom attended the same
00:21school and used Grok to undress the minors. The AI-generated photos were then shared on
00:26platforms like Telegram and Discord. A lawyer for the plaintiffs told the Post, quote,
00:31Elon Musk and ex-AI deliberately designed Grok to produce sexually explicit content for financial
00:36gain with no regard for the children and adults who would be harmed by it. Now, this isn't the
00:41first time that Musk's company had come under fire for this issue. Back in January, Grok was facing
00:46similar backlash and Musk said he was, quote, not aware of any naked underage images generated by
00:51Grok, literally zero. Now, he added that Grok was programmed not to produce any illegal images,
00:56but did admit that hackers could tamper with his tool. Also in January, he promised that
01:01XAI would fix those loopholes immediately.
