CM Chandrababu. The decades-long wait for employees working in Andhra Pradesh's public sector undertakings, corporations, and societies has finally come to an end. On Saturday, a Cabinet Sub-committee took a decision in principle to raise their retirement age from 60 to 62 years. This decision, taken by the sub-committee comprising Ministers Nara Lokesh, Payyavula Keshav, and P. Narayana, is set to directly benefit approximately 10,000 employees.
ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్‌లోని ప్రభుత్వ రంగ సంస్థలు, కార్పొరేషన్లు మరియు సొసైటీల్లో పనిచేస్తున్న ఉద్యోగుల దశాబ్దాల నిరీక్షణకు తెరపడింది. వీరి పదవీ విరమణ వయస్సును 60 ఏళ్ల నుంచి 62 ఏళ్లకు పెంచుతూ మంత్రివర్గ ఉపసంఘం శనివారం సూత్రప్రాయంగా నిర్ణయం తీసుకుంది. మంత్రులు నారా లోకేశ్‌, పయ్యావుల కేశవ్‌, పి.నారాయణలతో కూడిన ఈ సబ్ కమిటీ తీసుకున్న నిర్ణయంతో సుమారు 10 వేల మంది ఉద్యోగులకు నేరుగా లబ్ధి చేకూరనుంది.
