00:00When challenges abroad hit close to home, the government is moving quickly to keep Filipino workers from falling through the
00:06cracks.
00:07Authorities say they are leaving no stone unturned in delivering aid, repatriation, and new opportunities for affected overseas workers.

00:19Department of Migrant Workers or DMW Undersecretary Bernard Olalyo assured quick government action for Filipinos facing airspace closures or job
00:29disruptions.
00:30The DMW has launched clear security steps to assist affected workers immediately.
00:34The strategic objective of the Department of Migrant Workers is to monitor, protect our OFWs, bring them home safely, and
00:45provide alternative employment or livelihood opportunities to unsan-anong balik sa ating bansa.
00:52DMW implemented four key programs, free repatriation, on-site aid, non-border assistance, and new livelihoods.
01:00Over 1,000 Filipinos have already returned home via chartered flights.
01:05The government allocated 2 billion pesos for the action fund and 1.5 billion pesos for emergency repatriation.
01:12These funds are currently being processed to provide instant relief.
01:17Repatriates can also access new jobs and upscaling through partnerships with DTI, LGUs, and TESDA.
01:24The 1348 hotline is open 24-7 to connect families with their relatives in the Middle East.
