00:08the new subscription service that offers unlimited download and play
00:12of over 100 great Xbox One and Xbox 360 backward compatible games.
00:20Okay, here we are in the Xbox Game Pass lounge.
00:23This is where you can check out all the games in the catalog,
00:26see the different content categories, or channels as the team calls them,
00:31redeem a code, start your 14-day free trial,
00:35or rejoin the service if you were a member in the past.
00:39And then right below that is a quick description of the Xbox Game Pass service.
00:45There are over 100 games in the catalog sorted into different categories
00:49to make it easier to find the content that best fits your interests and play style.
00:54First up, you'll find the Feature Channel,
00:57which will display some of the hottest games in the catalog.
01:01The team will also use this location for videos, links, and Game Pass exclusive offers.
01:07If it's important to Game Pass members, it will always be communicated here.
01:11Moving on, you'll see all sorts of categories so you can easily find the games you want to play,
01:16including alphabetical listening, family-friendly, action-adventure, and RPGs, shooters, and more.
01:24There are many different great experiences in here.
01:28I am thrilled to see Halo 5 Guardians has been added,
01:31and I definitely plan on jumping back into Arena with all the free new maps and modes.
01:36Mad Max was a sleeper hit.
01:39Fable 3 is an absolute classic.
01:42And then you've got Borderlands,
01:44Gears of War,
01:46XCOM Enemy Within,
01:47which for my money is one of the finest strategy games ever made,
01:50and so much more.
01:52Of course, our commitment to a great catalog goes well beyond launch.
01:57Each month, Xbox Game Pass will add new games to the catalog,
02:00so there's always something new to check out and enjoy.
02:03Okay, now that you've seen some of the games on offer,
02:06let's check out how you get started.
02:08Click the drop-down box and choose 14-day Game Pass free trial,
02:12if you haven't taken the trial already.
02:15This will kick off the sign-up process, which only takes a couple of seconds.
02:19You do need a credit card, debit card, or PayPal account,
02:22and a few clicks later,
02:24you're a newly minted member of the Xbox Game Pass family.
02:28Now that we've signed up,
02:29let's talk about the fastest way to get you back to the Game Pass Lounge.
02:34My favorite path is to fire up My Games and Apps and choose Game Pass.
02:39Now that we're back in the lounge as an Xbox Game Pass member,
02:43you can see the description information is dropped to the bottom of the page,
02:46and the game channels have taken center stage up top.
