00:04Premier Grand Final this weekend.
00:06How are you feeling about it?
00:07Yeah, nerves are certainly there, but no, it's all exciting to be so young to get the
00:12opportunity to play on a stage like we're going to have Saturday and Sunday out here
00:15on a good deck against arguably one of the best sides that's been in the last couple
00:19of years.
00:20It's certainly a nerve-wracking experience, but I'm looking forward to it.
00:22As the youngest player of the side, what have you sort of worked on this year and taken
00:26from the experience?
00:27I think it's just learning, it's all learning, being so young, like I get the opportunity
00:30to learn off Ethan Boyd, Brendan Bant, Charlie James week to week, like they're all stars
00:35of the competition, Charlie being so young as well, that we're so close in age that we're
00:38great mates and yeah, for me it's just all learning off the back of what those boys do.
00:42And what's your role going to be this weekend?
00:44I think just a bit of bowling more so than anything.
00:47I'll follow those boys probably in the attack, then we've got the likes of like Joe Kanash,
00:51Shiv Kamara, they'll come in, they'll bowl some spin, but I think yeah, for me it's just
00:54going to be about trying to tie down my end as much as I can when I get the opportunity.
00:58And yeah, just try and keep Dennington because they're such a great side to a pretty low score
01:02whenever we can.
01:03And away from cricket, you're a big Speedway fan and been doing a bit of commentary so
01:07often you leave the game and after the game and head over to Premier Speedway.
01:11Can you tell us about that opportunity?
01:12Yeah, it's just a cool opportunity that's come about through dad being in the industry
01:16so long that it's always been something I wanted to do is do a bit of commentary stuff.
01:19I was always that young kid that was racing these little model cars around calling my own
01:22races and it's yeah, just a really cool experience that I've been given here in the last sort
01:26of 12, 18 months to pursue a dream that I've had to yeah, call racing and it's something
01:30that I'm cherishing with both hands.
01:32And you did the Victorian Sprint Car title on the weekend, what was that like?
01:35Yeah, it was a really cool experience, they had a great field of cars, Brock Hallett, Parker
01:40Scott, Tate Frost, those guys, the up-and-coming drivers and Brock Hallett has really cemented
01:44himself as the star of the sport so to get the opportunity to call those guys week in,
01:49week out, it's really cool and it's really cool to see the sport continue to grow.
