The team's coach says victory isn't the only thing they're looking to win in this match.

00:00Maidstone Grammar School have just achieved something over 20 years in the making.
00:07The rugby team have just reached the national finals, which is taking place at Twickenham Stadium on Thursday.
00:17And the mood is of course electric.
00:20A staggering 175 schools have taken part in this 30 year old competition.
00:28And now Maidstone Grammar is now one of the last two to compete for the finals.
00:35There's been a lot of support around the school, especially for the semi-final.
00:38We had a lot of people come down. We had, I think, two coaches of boys.
00:41A lot of our stuff at school as well has been about pride.
00:44So playing for people, playing for the school, playing for your family, making people proud, being role models for younger
00:50years.
00:52I'm sure there will be lots of partying going on on Thursday, but I think it's more about the smaller
00:57moments.
00:58I mean, getting to play at Twickenham, the feeling of winning is almost too close to think about.
01:03And for one student at this school, it will be their last game before going off to university.
01:11Last game for the school, I don't think I could have asked for any other place to play.
01:15So yeah, we're very lucky as a team, especially the year 13s, to have their last game for school playing
01:21at Twickenham.
01:21And yeah, you're like Zen if we win them, which is going to be the best stepping stone going on
01:25to play rugby in the future.
01:27But the match also has other goals beyond victory.
01:31So it's a really important pillar of the school, not just rugby, but sport as a whole.
01:36And what we're looking to do here, especially to get them, the school speaks a lot about inspiring to belong.
01:42Sport is a big, big driver and big vehicle for that.
01:45And then what we want to do is pick the interest in this sport and then send them out within
01:48the local community.
01:49We work with Maystone Rugby Club just over the road there, Ailes for Bulls down at Tunbridge Jadians.
01:54And we're trying to inspire these pupils, boys and girls, to be involved in sport for life.
01:59And that's what we're looking to achieve here.
02:00No matter the result on Thursday, this final is looking to be a touchdown in more ways than one for
02:09Maystone Grammar School.
