00:14I'm here to tell you about some of the exciting changes included in a major patch 1.0.10.
00:20In this update, we've included some brand new maps, balance changes, a few bug fixes, and quality of life improvements.
00:27These patches are designed to lead up to the multiplayer features scheduled around spring this year and introducing a lot
00:34of new elements to spice things up.
00:36First up, there are three brand new skirmish maps designed to hone your skills as you prepare for our upcoming
00:42multiplayer mode.
00:43Split Fire is a small scale but fun map which pictures Lord Tsukumo against the infamous mercenary Wolfram of the
00:51White Fangs.
00:52It's based around a small island and the center point of the map is the key location, a factory which
00:58both sides will be fighting over for control.
01:01The map is very fast paced and rewards aggressive but thoughtful play.
01:08Next up, we have Sea of Trees.
01:10This map is set in a huge forest.
01:12There are many tiles that give bonuses to defenders such as forest and hill tiles.
01:17The player will have to give greater focus to his own infantry forces, unleashing lightning strikes against the enemy using
01:24terrain to your advantage.
01:26This time, you will be taking command of Wolfram's forces against Nefarious, Ozio, and the Empire.
01:33The last map and my personal favorite is Bandit Park.
01:37It's really fun to play and wonderfully balanced by our planner Yoshiki Takahama.
01:42This is a battle royale with all factions fighting for control of the map.
01:47In the center are small forests and city tiles which encourage the player to fight for control whilst also fending
01:53off the advances of the other factions.
01:55Make good use of comms link so that you can gain advantage over your opponent with your favorite hero units
02:02early on.
02:05We've taken all your feedback and decided to implement what we could.

02:13First, we decided to make all land units healable on city, headquarters, and factory tiles.
02:19We made these changes to help improve the flow of the gameplay, make it easier for players to keep their
02:25veteran units in the fight.
02:27We've also reduced the damage received by fighters from the rear by 15%, making them now one of the most
02:33cost effective and extremely mobile anti-air options in your arsenal.
02:39All infantry, scout units, and buildings under your control have had their terrain vision increased.
02:46Thanks to your feedback, we've decided to balance the mission 13 and 14 to give players more of a challenge.
02:53On the other side of the coin, we've decreased difficulty of the mountain forest skirmish map, so we hope you'll
02:58give these another try.
03:01Again, all of these changes were based around player feedback, and we hope that you enjoyed the changes we made.
03:08Our thinking behind these changes was to give the player more tactical choices in their gameplay, and to level out
03:14the difficulty spikes.
03:16In other news, per request of a large number of players, we have replaced the initial opening cinematic with a
03:22loading screen.
03:24We've also made various bug fixes involving missions not unlocking or ending properly, and a few minor improvements to the
03:31UI.
03:31No more accidentally skipping dialog screens with your mouse.
03:35You'll be glad to know that we are soldiering on with the multiplayer patch that we will be releasing soon.
03:41Alongside this, we have exciting new features coming soon, including brand new maps and a whole new unit roster.
03:48We are really excited about the multiplayer patch, as this will finally give savvy commanders a chance to test their
03:54mettle against each other.
03:55So dust off your war gear and start drilling your armies now.
03:59For console players out there, you are going to be updated directly to this newest version.
04:05All the changes and adjustments made in the Steam versions previously are being rolled into this update, so don't worry,
04:11you won't miss a thing.
