00:07All right, so listen, this is a big week in the Rough Riders.
00:10Everybody knows I'm a Rough Rider.

00:12Yes, I'm probably the worst member.

00:15Well, I'm one of them.
00:16I think we have worse members.
00:17Yeah, we have worse members.
00:19But so this is a very special weekend because Tampa has a couple of big parades.
00:23Of course, we have the Gasparilla Parade, and then we have the Night Parade, right?
00:26And then we have the St. Patrick's Day Parade, which the Rough Riders put on and support
00:32and sponsor, and we're essentially the organizing body in coordination with the city of Tampa.
00:37And I just wanted to bring on our president, Robin Kahn, to talk about the event and encourage
00:43everybody, hey, listen, it's going to be a great event this weekend in downtown.
00:46MJ, this is Robin.
00:47Robin Kahn, you are the president of the Rough Riders, so you've got to be a doctor, lawyer,
00:53some accountant, or what do you do for a living?
00:56So I am retired, but I got this job by not showing up for a meeting, and I got elected.
01:02Yes.
01:03That's how it came to happen.
01:04You don't show up, they could have moved you right along.
01:06Just tell me, what was your profession locally before you retired?
01:09So I was an IT guy, which endeared me to the Rough Riders.
01:14Yeah.
01:15So I took over the website, the email, all that stuff.
01:19Well, awesome.
01:19And that's the crazy thing about the Rough Riders.
01:21You know, it's a group of, you know, primarily men, but it's open to everybody.
01:24And it comes from guys from all walks of life.
01:26I mean, yeah, we have doctors and judges and lawyers and all that hoity-toity stuff,
01:30but we also have radio idiots.
