09:24I've seen a few people slip in the tenner.
09:26I'm just like, how do I do this?
09:28Yeah, I mean, if that's the going rate, then I think I'm going to get involved as well.
09:31Yeah, I'll take it, I'll take some personal coaching.
09:34So we have had another question from Kev on Twitter, so thank you Kev for sending it in.
09:39Are the stages that we'll see in Dirt Rally 2.0 based on real life locations or are they generated
09:44by your stage again?
09:45So they're bespoke stages, so in line with the first Dirt Rally you'll be able to practice a stage to
09:53kind of learn the layout.
09:55I mean the track surface is going to change in that, but they're bespoke stages and yes they are based
10:00on real world locations.
10:02We have a kind of research team go out, look at all of the terrain and the routes.
10:10We also use satellite data to make sure that we're modelling things as accurately as we can and we're able
10:16to.
10:18And yeah, the feedback we get from some of the guys who have been involved in WRC have said that
10:24this stuff aligns with what they've experienced many, many times.
10:28Cool, so you're just touching it there slightly, I'm going to ask you to expand.
10:32Tell us a little bit more about how the surface of the tracks will evolve over the course of Dirt
10:37Rally 2.0.
10:38So we have a system in place where based on where the player is in the starting order, the track
10:45surface kind of evolves.
10:47So the guys who are starting in positions one to five, you'll kind of find it's slightly slippery as the
10:53material needs to be cleared away.
10:55From kind of fifth to tenth in the running order is the ideal running position.
11:00And then kind of from 11th down to 150th you'll find that the surface is kind of started to rut
11:06up.
11:07The material's been moved to off the racing line and yeah it becomes a whole lot more challenging.
11:12No, so optimal running sort of place is between fifth and tenth, so you've got the loose surface that's been
11:18swept and you're not basically driving in train tracks.
11:21Yeah, yeah exactly.
11:22Excellent.
11:23So we've got another question, this is from Chris on Twitter, so will there still be daily and weekly events
11:29and challenges?
11:29Yeah, they were super popular and so we'll be bringing those back and there'll be a couple of variations on
11:37the themes as well.
11:39So yeah, yeah, should be plenty to keep people engaged.
11:45We'll take one last one I guess and then we'll sort of, or should we join, should we join?
11:49Let's join John.
11:50Let's join John on board.
11:51Let's have a little, have a little watch and listen.
12:02Bye!
12:03Let's go.
12:05Let's go.
12:06Let's do it.

29:05play that on the keyboard for like an entire school holiday and yeah that was kind of where
29:13it really came from. I think my dad was into rally and motorsports and yeah so that was
29:19where that came from. I've still never, my hands have never really recovered from six
29:25weeks. I like that. And just one more question from, not from anyone sort of online, it actually
29:34came from Dan Hawkins over there on the mixing desk. Spectator mode, he's keen to know about
29:40spectator mode. Yeah so when you are competing against other people in rally or rallycross,
29:45yeah if you're the first one across the finish line you'll be able to see how the others are
29:50getting on. Then further down the line once we start talking about esports and competitive
29:56multiplayer then we'll start looking at whether we can do more with the spectator mode, allow people
30:01a lot more sort of free choice what they're looking at. So yeah we'll be interested to hear
30:05what it is that people really want from that. Okay cool, I mean a lot of people are going to
30:09be
30:09watching us online then. Yeah but I think that's a really reoccurring theme throughout Dirt Rally 2.0.
30:15We are so eager to hear what the fans want from the game. I'm certainly all ears on the kind
30:20of
30:20community front line and I know you guys are too and we've got you know a really great dialogue
30:24between us kind of saying this is what they want to see, this is what they want to see more
30:27of. We've
30:28obviously worked with our community testers previous to announcing the game and that's
30:31something we really want to kind of continue. So we want to continue listening, continue
30:34kind of giving people more of what they want. Yeah I mean the sort of the private beta we've
30:39been holding was great and to be able to iterate on our handling and get that out
30:45there to people and have them feed back on it and that's been that's been key and
30:50yeah through you know our forums and all of our other channels where you like you say
30:54we're always listening to what people want, what they want more of, what they want less of, how
30:58they think we can tweak things, refine things and yeah. Excellent so it looks as though I think
31:03are we are we ready? I've got the famous thumbs up again. The John Armstrong thumbs up. It's going
31:09to be a thing so we're very excited to get into this. You'll be driving, John will be driving
31:13Petter Solberg's VW so that is exciting because that's brand new to Dirt Rally 2.0 as well
31:19and we are going around Trois-Rivières which is Canada RX for those of you who aren't too well
31:25acquainted with RX but hopefully you should be because it's wonderful and it's the fastest
31:29growing motorsport at the minute and it's brilliant so let's let's watch John on board.
31:37Ready to race.
