Shab e Qadr (Laylatul Qadr) is the most blessed night in Ramadan, a night filled with mercy, forgiveness, and countless rewards from Allah. On this sacred night, believers increase their worship and perform special nawafil (voluntary prayers) to seek Allah’s blessings.
According to a narrated practice, a person who performs four rakats of Nafl prayer on the night of Shab e Qadr in the following way may receive great spiritual rewards. In each rakat, recite Surah Al-Fatiha once, Surah At-Takathur once, and Surah Al-Ikhlas three times. It is mentioned that Allah may make the hardships of that person easy, grant protection from the punishment of the grave, and bless them with great rewards in Paradise.
