00:00Isn't it? Saudi Arabia has become something of our regional hub for foreign nationals,
00:05including Canadian nationals, being evacuated from right across the region.
00:09Just tell us how that operation has been working.
00:12Well, you know, on the one hand, it's geography, right?
00:15Saudi Arabia is further removed and it has been subjected to less attacks,
00:22but it has also dealt with those attacks very well.
00:27And it's been able to maintain, you know, pretty much full operations from the airport in Riyadh
00:35and certainly the airport in Jeddah is unaffected.
00:39But what's been really important for us has been the support of the Saudi authorities
00:44in helping to get our citizens across the border.
00:49So we did, Tom, six assisted departure by road from Doha and from Qatar and from Kuwait.
01:00And in all cases, we got tremendous assistance from the authorities to enable Canadians
01:07to cross smoothly and safely into Saudi Arabia so they can make their way to Riyadh
01:14and onto their onward journey to Canada or other destinations.
