00:00Hey everyone, we had a fun project idea with our Lightwing drone.
00:03We just added a dual Wi-Fi camera from a toy drone and added it to our Lightwing,
00:08turning it into a drone for hobby flights.
00:10The goal was to simply use the Lightwing for a stable flight
00:13and let the camera module to handle the live video streaming independently.
00:18The wiring is very simple.
00:19Just connect the VCC of the camera module to the V-Bus of the drone
00:23and connect the ground to the common ground of the drone.
00:26That's it.
00:26Once powered on, the camera starts its own Wi-Fi access network
00:30and starts streaming video to my phone.
00:32As you can see, the footage updates in real time while the drone is powered on and flying.
00:37Since the setup runs using a single cell LiPo battery,
00:40one important thing I have learned is that using a higher C rating battery is necessary.
00:45If the battery cannot supply enough current during the throttle,
00:48you may notice some jitter or noise in the video due to voltage drop.
00:51With the proper higher C rating battery,
00:53the video feed remains stable even during the flight time.
