01:18normality become a superpower everybody has the opportunity to be a goat i think the
01:23idea of not just in sports not just in basketball but in life and you know
01:28being able to find what that means for yourself you know dreaming big having an
01:33idea of you know where you find purpose and meaning in life and giving everything
01:38that you have to it surrounding yourself with the right people and you know
01:43whatever success means to you is good enough and I think that for me is you
01:48know what goat means and all its different iterations in in your opinion why do
01:54sports and movies work so well together I think the the ability to whether
02:02you've played sports yourself or not the energy that it evokes out of you the
02:08unpredictability of sports and just the fact that it brings so many different
02:13personalities and energies together it's just a great environment to to talk
02:18about you know real impactful stories relevant life you know takeaways and
02:24things that you can apply I think it brings an element of joy to like it's a
02:30feeling of accomplishment you know going after a championship whether you get there
02:34or not the lessons that you learn along the way not to give any spoilers out but
02:38you know when you do win the big one it's just a feeling of a while like we we we
02:44did that in
02:45and that that teamwork that that that it evokes this is special the movie says dream
02:50big what was your biggest dream when you were a kid my big my biggest dream was to
02:57make it just to make it to the NBA like that was you know my dad played in the NBA
03:03so I
03:03kind of understood what it looked like but I was also so far away from all the
03:09different checkpoints on what it meant to you know have a journey that would end up in
03:14the NBA so my dream was to make it to the NBA I've I've outlived that dream and gone
03:21you know beyond my wildest imagination so I'm blessed and fortunate to you know have
03:29had that happen you're you're a producer and also a director what can you bring to
03:35American cinema ooh hopefully impactful authentic stories and something that can inspire people
03:45from all different backgrounds I feel like it's a broad message but it's also meaningful to have
03:51specific projects and stories and even with with GOAT you know just an idea of we need more positive
03:59uplifting stories in our world we need ways to bring people together so hopefully I can I can be a
04:06small part in in that process it's time to break even less you will not only play with ruggy ball
