Plot of My Duplicated Husband
For five years, Esther has been trapped in an abusive marriage. Her husband, Carl, cheated on her, was physically violent, and indirectly caused the death of their daughter. On their fifth wedding anniversary, during another violent confrontation, Carl dies accidentally. In shock, Esther buries his body in the backyard and goes to sleep. The next morning, Carl appears in front of her again — alive and behaving like the caring, gentle man he once was when they first fell in love. His personality no longer matches the abusive husband she buried. Esther begins to question what is happening. Did Carl somehow return from the dead, or has someone replaced him?
