Trascrizione
00:10Il Targaryen che siede sul trono di Spargo. Non è solo uno, ho un eritino.
00:18Now I really understand why Daenerys was so mad, thanks to you, and Michael Caine in The Batman
00:26says that some men just want to see the world burn. I think your character is one of them.
00:32Why in your opinion?
00:34Well he's got a dragon. No, I think he's a sort of agent of chaos really, but I don't
00:39think it's just about seeing the world burn. I don't think he just simply wants to sort
00:43of destroy everything. I think there is a code to him, actually. But I do think he wants
00:49to sort of plant little bombs and see them explode and see how people react and then come in and
00:54and there's a sort of Machiavellian chaos to it, certainly.
01:00Your two brothers are almost like Mufasa and Scar, because The Lion King is based on Amlet,
01:07on Shakespeare. Do you believe that you have improved Shakespeare with dragons?
01:11I don't know. That's a big one, isn't it? Improved Shakespeare with dragons.
01:14Does that mean that I get to be Scar?
01:15You're Scar. And I'm Mufasa.
01:18Mufasa, wow. Cool.
01:20That's pretty cool, isn't it? That's the biggest compliment I've ever had.
01:23I don't know about that, you know, I don't know about it, you know, changing Shakespeare.
01:28I'm not sure. It's just...
01:30Change the Bard.
01:31Yeah. You can't change the Bard.
01:34But it is certainly the sort of themes in it feel quite Shakespearean.
01:37Yeah, they do. They feel quite epic and grand.
01:40It is rooted in that sort of stuff, definitely.
01:42Yeah.
01:43In this TV show, they say many times, you stink of dragon.
01:48Have you ever thought, how does a dragon smell like...?
01:52Like your farts at 3am when you've had a kebab and six pints of lager.
01:57Yeah, actually, I think Cracksy smells like root. I keep them very clean.
02:00One under the light and go...
02:01Yeah.
02:02Oh, God. That's what a dragon smells like.
02:08Do you have a playlist for the scenes in which you sit on the throne
02:12and the ones in which you ride a dragon?
02:16What's the perfect song for those moments?
02:18Song?
02:19Yes.
02:21I don't think that...
02:22There's a Joy Division song that's just right to mind.
02:26Yeah? While you're riding your dragon?
02:29Yeah, I don't know why.
02:29I'm in, day out, day out, day out, day out, day out, day out.
02:36Wow!
02:36That's a good choice.
02:37What's that song called?
02:38Is that She's Lost Control?
02:40Yeah, She's Lost Control.
02:40No, that's She's Lost Control.
02:42Oh, of course it is. Sorry, I'm flipping now.
02:44I'm losing my shit.
02:44But that's my bad either.
02:45I'm not very good on the spot.
02:47You listened to the Pistols a lot, didn't you?
02:49Yeah, yeah.
02:50I remember going...
02:51I never listened to the Sex Pistols properly.
02:52I can't think of the theme tune I have in my head
02:54sitting on the throne, personally.
02:56No.
02:56Dreams are really important in this TV show.
02:59For some characters are almost like a fuel.
03:03For others, they are a fear because they are a bad premonition.
03:07What is the meaning of dreams to you both?
03:11To me?
03:12In life?
03:12Yeah, yeah, yeah.
03:13In the show?
03:14In life?
03:15Yeah.
03:16Well, you can speak to it in the show more than I can.
03:18I can speak to it in the show, yeah.
03:19What's the...
03:20I don't really know what dreams are in life.
03:23I think, you know, when your body's that relaxed, obviously your mind wanders to a different
03:27state.
03:28In the world of Game of Thrones, dreamers are people who were like, kind of like...
03:33I don't know, I don't think they were prophets in a way.
03:36Maybe they were in a way, but they could see the future.
03:39And in Targaryen history, yeah, dreamers saved the Targaryen family from the doom.
03:45So, without a dream, as a warning, the Targaryens wouldn't exist.
03:50So, Viserys takes dreams very, very seriously.
03:54Which actually confuses him in some way, because I think he thinks of himself as a dreamer.
04:01And he tells his wife in the first episode of a dream he's had about their unborn son,
04:05which has tragic consequences.
04:08So, if you're playing with mysticism, and in all those areas, you have to exercise discernment
04:13in it.
04:14You know, you can't be completely mystic.
04:16There has to be a sort of, you know, a kind of...
04:20You have to align back and think about it a little bit from your own perspective, if
04:24that makes sense.
04:25But he's so driven by it that it causes tragedy.
04:28Mm-hm.
04:29And you?
04:31I don't think Damon is a dreamer, but me, what do I think?
04:35I don't know.
04:36I really believe in the sort of pattern and the subconscious message of dreams in real
04:41life.
04:43I'm quite good at dreaming and remembering what I've dreamt.
04:47Do you know what I mean?
04:47Mm-hm.
04:48I can remember my dreams quite vividly, which I think is a privilege.
04:53Okay.
04:54Thank you so much.
05:05Thank you.
05:06Thank you.
05:06Thank you.
05:21Thank you, porigh.
